Mini Dev Update - August 2026

Before we begin with the Chapter 10 update, some news of the Steam release.

So, I dropped the Season 1 Steam release on Monday, and so far, it has been going rather well. We tickled the Steam algorithm sufficiently with 10 positive reviews within 24 hours, and again, with 50 reviews and upgraded the review score to Very Positive within roughly 72 hours.

We hit a peak of 267 concurrent players which is a pretty decent number when I compare it to how other AVNs of my scale have done (we’ll just ignore that certain big boy AVN - that’s about to drop a new update - that has a ridiculous concurrent player peak of 5000+).

And we, very briefly, cracked the Popular New Releases list… look:

But as the person who alerted me to this said, I don't quite know how I'm going to compete with Swarm Bunker: Lust Defense (and who knew there were sexy tower defense games now too. The mind boggles).

Anyways, it’s still too early days to confirm whether I’m less concerned about losing my job and focusing on Origin Story full-time now, but things are looking very positive.

So, thank you so much to everyone who has purchased a copy of the game on steam, and an extra thank you to those that have also left a review. But, there’s still a ways to go. At the point of writing this, only 8% of the people who have wishlisted the game have actually bought a copy… and only the tiniest fraction of people who have bought it have left a review. So, please do what you can to support the game on steam and help it excel.

• Post-work: 52% complete

• Additional lewd writing: 50% complete

• Music/Audio: Further music selected/acquired (and a few original songs delivered) – music/sfx not yet coded into game.

• Additional: Still need to implement all new special renders and lewd scenes into the galleries.

• Testing: Obviously, not done yet.
