Timeout! Lez talk
Heya everyone!
So, I'm gonna ask you all for something: I need some time. Until August 21st, to be exact.
I started work on the Sabine pack to post around Wednesday-ish (I will still finish it at a later date!) and realized I can't do weeklies right now and get on schedule like I want to.
So what happened?
Animations happened. I'm having a blast with them. I love learning, I love that after 3 fucking years I was FINALLY able to make my first full NSFW animated episode. It seemed to do well with all of you , but it took a huge amount of bandwidth and time to get done, and I want to explain why that is.
Levi isn't my primary job. I technically could live off of Levi if I wanted to, but she's not quite at a place where that would be comfortable. She is very, very, very close. Just not there yet.
I work in game development. I was recruited about 3 years ago BECAUSE of my AI stuff! It's fun, it's a blast, and lately it is hard. Once I'm able to tell you the company and the game, I will. For now just know it's been rough. A typical day is 10–12 hours at the job. I work on Levi stuff concurrently, literally until I go to sleep. I take half an hour to exercise daily (so I don't lose my god damn mind). I play some games with Amina for a couple hours or talk to the other gals.
That's the whole day. I am always working on something. And it's great! It's the fire in which I burn. But the Tifa X Eve animation and then Rin's Estate Part 2 took all my attention, and I HATE working on things under short time constraints.
And then there's my one major blocker: the OC comic.
I've been working on it for months and I still haven't been able to start Sword Maiden X Rias. The OC comic is just fucking huge , it's taken straight from the roleplay, it covers a vast amount of time, and there's a REALLY cool NSFW thing I get to do with it that I want to get done properly. It's novel, it's neat, I think you're all going to love it. I'm about 70–80% of the way there. But it's heavy, and I keep diverting attention to other Levi things.
That's normally not a bad thing , I don't stop producing packs when I'm working on comics, I just keep going. But this one has stretched long enough that I can't see the end of it as long as I'm also running weeklies.
So here's what would be done:
The OC comic. Finished and out the door. The thing I've been chewing on for months. And a really cool other thing with it I think you'll like.
The SFW wallpaper video zip. Finally.
The Patreon archive organized into collections, so you can find a pack from March without scrolling into the void. Easy to navigate , find your fav stuff faster, find your new fav things fast as well.
The Levi store updated, like I swore to myself I'd stop putting off.
To be clear: I'm not asking to output less forever. This is a one-time pause to let me catch up. On the 21st we go right back to 2 packs every 2 weeks, and I get to start Sword Maiden X Rias with a clear head instead of a guilty one.
I'll still be posting weekly content on X and messing around with NSFW animations here and there to test things. I'm not going anywhere.
The reason I'm asking is because I'm excited, not because I'm burnt out on this. The animations opened a door I've been trying to kick down for three years. The OC comic is finally telling a story I REALLY want to. Sword Maiden X Rias is sitting right there waiting for me to start in earnest.
I just need to stop juggling for a few weeks so I can actually put the good stuff in your hands instead of perpetually almost putting it in your hands.
August 21st. Please. I will still run polls, be here, we can decide on future content.

"A typical workday lasts 10–12 hours" — that shouldn't be considered normal. A workday should be 8 hours plus commute time. Crunching is bad. Hang in there!

as long as it takes I’ll wait and I’m sure many others will, besides if you stress yourself out you’ll probably get discouraged from doing this and nobody wants that so take your time to get shit done

Historically, when you look at when you have been trying to break through a creative barrier’s you inevitably end up having time constraints because there’s so much to knock out. But just like all your creative genius once you figure out the process, your workflow tends to move a lot faster and you’re able to post exactly what you intended. I don’t think of it as a slow down but more just a bump in the road into your creativity. Take the time learn how to do it the way you wanna do it and when you’re ready, you’ll post it. After all, how do you eat an elephant? one bite at a time. I don’t know how pushy some other people are, but those of us that have stuck around for a long time, we will still be here patiently waiting and supporting you. ;)
Truth! it's blatent facts that whenever Levi is on the cusp of a massive breakthrough, she goes into full focus mode until that barrier is smashed. this is another one of those moments i'm sensing as well. Don't worry about us going without content for a while, it's guaranteed that you'll be back with suitcases of goodies =D
Levi, firs off we thank you for sharing parts of your life and what you do with us. We know many artists and this is not their full time job probably something that started off as a hobby. You are the GOAT and we support you. Take all of the time you need. We will still be here. Besides for me at least there's plenty of your files I'm working through and enjoying. Please get rest and stay healthy first and foremost and also time some time to enjoy life as there is only one.

This is perfectly understandable. Take the time you need. One of the things I like most aabout you is that you tend to favor quality over quantity. In order to maintin that you have to rest aand sometimes have to shut down entirely for a bit. It's understandable. The end result is worth it.

Levi honestly, if i saw you post on here again after your Rin Lara Croft fanpack 2, I was gonna say I hope you're taking time to yourself and recharging cuz this looks like it takes a good chunk of time out of you. Im so more then ok with this. Id honestly ask for you to take a break but if your having fun and managing time, hell more power to ya. And I dont speak for everyone here, but in sure we are in the same boat by saying " do your thing Queen, we ain't going nowhere" lol. Seriously though you are the best 🌹
I honestly thought you were gonna announce something really world ending, but it’s something I can release my breath at. It’s all good if you wanna take a break to make sure everything is good :) You have a massive following and everyone here KNOWS you will never disappoint when it comes to your content (other than the odd occasional random unhinged DM) So don’t sweat it! You keep on being yourself and we’ll be fine :) I mean you have a massive archive here! If people can’t entertain themselves by spending that time catching up with already established Levi stuff, then that speaks volumes on their part ;) I know we all eagerly look forward to what you have in store later this month :D it’s gonna be epic!
Everyone needs a break from time to time to recharge or something. So take all the time you need. You deliver great content that has consistently remained top tier quality. Can't wait to see the OC pack when it comes out but you take care of yourself too, don't let Amina kick your butt at gaming, and enjoy some free time too when you can. Rest up, recharge, and have some 'me' time. Also can't wait to hear the game your developing and read that novel if you publish it.
No need to apologize or ask of favors, girl. Your working pace has always been more than fine, unrealistically so, and even more so given you also have your other job. It takes time to do things right, and you have been doing a myriad of different things lately: your music, SFW animations, now the NSFW animations, regular packs, longer packs, upscales… I always wondered where tf did you got the time for all that. So just let it all settle. And try to focus. I’m sure we all will be eagerly waiting for the 21th 😄 (Also… summer holidays!!! Don’t know if that’s usual there where you live, but damn, this is the time for taking some time off and breathe deep to recharge for the next year!)

Not a problem Levi. You take the extra time to make sure your standards are met before releasing something for us to enjoy. No need to burn yourself out.
Sounds good. I think we are all willing to wait for good quality content. And we know that's what we get with you. We will wait patiently and supportively. Your excitement always translates well to your work. I know it will all be worth the wait.
Take the time. I've been there work taking up 90+% of your time and life. It drains you.
