Poll! Do you like the remakes?
So it's Saturday. I'm hanging out, doing some work but taking it easy generally, and doing queue of things I want to do. Because I'm wanting to focus on the comic I was looking at my older content for remake material. (And honestly because it's nice to have some ideas refresh in my memory. Poses, lighting, things like that. )
I like doing the remakes of stuff and generally they seem to be received well, but I wanted to just do a quick poll and get the temperature of how you guys feel about them. Generally, I try to stick to stuff that's over a year and a half or older so it feels fresh with the updated style. And I do always throw in completely new pics. (Like in the case of Chika X Hayasaka making it about twice as big ) . But I get worried that some of you might not like them.
I will continue to make new content of course, I'm not trying to say ALRIGHT WE REDOING ALL OF 2024 cause that'd be boring for both of us. But as a way of me continuing to provide content while I'm trying to make new things, I just wanted to get a poll out about how you guys feel about them.
So simple yes or no, pick one. This'll help me gauge how you guys feel about them.
I can't attach pictures or files to polls, which is ass. So if you haven't compared a remake to an original pack I linked the Hayasaka X Chika pack as an example so you can see the differences.
The original Hayasaka X Chika is here ------> https://www.patreon.com/posts/fanart-pack-16-x-112041053?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link
The remake of that pack is here --------> https://www.patreon.com/posts/fanart-pack-38-x-122895270?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link
Granted lately the changes are little more drastic, but it's still a good way to see the differences between an original and a remake.
So if you could just take a second to vote, it'd help me out! : D

As with most things, I believe the challenge here is to find the middle point. A good balance. Redoing old content *is* cool. It allow us to revisit old favorites, it helps showing how much your style has evolved and improved with time, and brings back some ideas to you, which will improve your new sets. And helps with filling content. It’s a win-win. But also, it’s important to not rely too much on it, as it might stagnate the development of fresh new material. In short, just find a good balance, and it’s all good. Just like with video game companies and remakes of older games. Right now im shivering just thinking about the remake of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. I want it so much. But also I expect new content in the franchise. PS. Enjoy you chill weekend!! 👍🏻
I LOVE THE REMAKES. Keep them coming
Remakes are fine as long as they don't become the main thing if you get what I mean? Like, imagine just remaking games instead of creating a brand new one
Chilling like a villain. Nice. 👍 Keep the originals, but I do enjoy the touch ups with your new skills. It would be cool to see the before and after side by side. With your current skill I’m sure you can do a retouch fairly easily. Plus it brings a resurgent of interest from new patrons.
This is actually one of the things i like about it. it gives me a chance for new patrons who haven't seen the original to see something and better than it was before.
personally? When comparing the Chika/Hayasaka packs together, the remake has that extra "omph" to it. you're somehow telling a bigger story without words while the older/original pack was just an assortment of "here are the girls, watch them fuck" It would (as you've said) give you an opportunity to work/reuse those new lighting/shading skills you've developed and improving the older packs so they look immaculate! Imagine what the old Tifa/Aerith pack would look like with those? ;)
Oh God that was like the first yuri thing i ever did if i remember correctly and yeah it'd look much different lol
