Comic 5: Prinz Eugen X Asuna Yuuki "The Door Stays Locked"

So the mini comics tend to be like, 20ish pages. I don't generally name or number them because they're just a weekly project.
The BIG comics which I do name and number (I need to go back and call the OC Christmas special comic 4 forgor too x.x) tend to anywhere from 70-120 pages. ( Thanks Nothing Happened for whooping my ass.)
So what i wanted to do was pilot a longer comic that wasn't QUITE the length of a mega one. Not every story I want to tell requires 100+ pages. But sometimes I wanna do something more substantive then a weekly mini comic. So, these will be Levi-verse comics that live somewhere in between those ranges. This one clocks about 50. I put just as much effort into it as I did a major one, just didn't need to do it for so long.

That is still coming my dearies. It's still being made and I have been working on it for a while. I had a particular spark of interest to make this one after the vote because I outlined it and realized I needed more than 20 pages for it. I also have slightly shifted HOW I make comics and how they look, so it felt good to do that with this one to see how I felt about the changes.
So Morrigan X Albedo is still coming, I promise. Took a short break, like 2 more days after this one just to rest on the whole comic shtick then right back onto making more.
So, if everyone likes this higher effort but not quite the buy-in of a 100 page epic I will try to fit these in more. Creatively, it was nice to take a break and work on something different. And I could see myself working on two at a time if this is well liked.
So, Prinz Eugen after a year of being top 5 finally got a top vote. Along with Asuna Yuuki. So here is their story, and I really really hope you like it. Like I do with ALL my comics, I'm going to do a fun SFW lil teaser on my X account. If you wouldn't mind, if you like this comic. Please leave a positive comment there for other people to see your review. It's not required, I'm not gonna like be mad if you don't. But anytime I put so much effort into something like this I want people to see it. <3

As much as I like the artwork, I enjoy the interspersion of dialogue. Granted most of the dialogue sounds like they come from the mind of one person, but it's still very enjoyable--and gives life to the comics. Really like it.
I’m Late to the party for two… Just read it and it is definitely an emotional roller coaster of curiosity, anger, desire, compassion, sensuality, euphoria, longing, sadness, and bitter sweet sorrow. The visuals of the wet hair and their beautiful skin pressed against one another is definitely mesmerizing! … the ONE thing that ruined it for me was the Dead BOLT. It looks locked 🔒 in the “open” position, but you see the bolt is through it. I was confused as heck. I was wondering if Eugene tricked Asuna about the lock just to take advantage of the situation, but as she states she could “throw her off” anytime. And then I saw Levi narrate the ending and then it got me thinking she was peeking through the door which is how she could recall the intimacy. Once again, Ms. Levi, you have created a beautiful comic with interesting combination in only the way that you can! Bravo! 👏 ❤️
Honest question, Levi. Was it your intention to have the ending the way it played out? Been wracking my brain trying to figure out if this was a "sad" ending, or just a stroke of genius on your part. As we've been seeing happy and sunshines and rainbows from the majority of those who arrived in Rave. Yet, we've never really seen those who aren't happy so to speak (before now of course)
it was always intended to have a bittersweet ending. :) As to where the story goes from here (if it goes anywhere at all) I have ideas several ways. Who knows what fate holds for them.

reading your comics is always a lot of fun levi, makes me want to learn even more about the levi-verse, I’m more curious about how the expeditions go since I remember they were mentioned in the oreo comic
Holy fuck…. I-I’m at a loss for words on this comic. I get this is for fun and such, but goddamn you Levi, I’m actually emotionally torn here. Seeing Asuna like that, she’s literally torn down the middle, she loves what she has here with Eugen, but she wants to go back to her family and friends. I think beyond the fun and games, we now see and realise the actual impact the rave-portal has, and while some are okay and adjust to their situation. There are those who are going to be heartbroken for a loooong time. Hopefully Eugen will help Asuna with that. But I really believe that Asuna would always carry a flicker of love towards Kirito (unless I dunno some sort of weird wibbly wobbly stuff happens and the rave portal spits out Kirito and he’s stuck in his female body forever XD) Long story short on this emotional run of mine here… Unlike the other comics you’ve done. This one might actually be my favourite of all time. Not just because of Asuna and Eugen. But because of the deeper narration behind it. With all that said! Onto the good parts! The new overlay youve been working one. It shines through, we’re getting action AND story at the same time without getting that break we’ve seen in your previous comics. Levi standing in to tell the rest of the story was a gutsy move but it worked as a nice way to end the story without it being of Asuna crying her eyes out at the situation. The cheesecake and sex is as great as ever :) always fun to see the unique poses and ways they can pleasure each other while still keeping to realism :D plus I LOVE that extra detailed information about Eugen “waiting a year for miss right” 4th wall breakage is always an enjoyable moment in any platform :D 10/10 from me on this Levi, looking forward for Albedo and Morrigan even more now :D
