Regarding Patreon Exclusives

Hey ya'll, didn't think this needed to be said but I'd really appreciate if you guys didn't post exclusive Patreon art to other sites like rule34. I like to post some exclusive art and alts here specifically for those who choose to support me with a sub, that's one of the benefits you get for dropping $5. It kind of defeats the purpose if you take that art and upload it elsewhere.

I generally don't mind when my art gets posted by other people so long as I'm given credit but a good rule of thumb is that if I haven't posted it anywhere other than here then you shouldn't either. Honestly, that's a good rule of thumb for pretty much any artist that you support. After enough time I usually end up posting old exclusives anyway, so very rarely does anything stay behind a paywall.

It means the world to me that people like my art and that some choose to support me here, genuinely. I make an extraordinarily small amount of money from Patreon, especially after Patreon takes their cut (and Apple if you sub through Apple Pay) and I'd like to keep making art for everybody but in order to do that I do need to be able to make ends meet. In a world with an ever-increasing cost of living and AI forcing itself into every single creative space, I ask that you don't take food out of artists’ mouths.
