My deck performed like a champ, only losing to Mystic Forge (after winning twice against it throughout the tournament).
I feel super proud to have made it to the finals after some seriously intense matches!

Huge congrats! Great job! Do you feel null rod is necessary even in the paper metagame? I'm asking just because I see that deck 95% of the time comes out from online tournament.
I've added Null Rod to my sideboard specifically to counter the Mystic Forge/The One Ring Combo, and for good reason - 4 of my matches on this Sunday were against this deck! If you anticipate facing this deck in your paper metagame, Null Rod is your best option for winning this matchup. While having extra cards against 8-cast decks is nice, they aren't necessary to win against them.
