I'm thinking of doing a few episodes making up one longer encounter. That means you all would be seeing the same characters for several months. Hopefully the episodes would be different enough, but seeing the same characters for so long might get boring. Want to see what you all think.
Also considering hiring a voice actress for this. The challenge with this is that I'm not able/willing to figure out how to do lip syncing. I did some tests and they didn't go well. Would need to do some creative thinking on how to integrate voice without lip movement that makes sense.

Maybe you can do it in a form of narrating. As in the audio is the actual thoughts of the characters recounting the events as they happened. Or as a storyteller narrates the plot. That may ease up on the lip synch and you can do it only in small parts of the scene if needed

Are you limited to motions and pacing of scene, because you are matching to an audio track?
No. I make the video first. The audio challenge is about whether I can write a dialogue that's interesting and i can animate. I really don't want to do 10 minutes of lip syncing.
I don't know much about Blender animations, but if you could add rebound or "jiggle" physics, even if it means it would take longer to produce, I can confidently say most people would want that.
Tried before and it went bad. I'll look again but no guarantees. It does look great though!
I can always paste the longer encounter over several vids together into one long video
Good idea. I should probably do that too. My big concern was not wanting to bore people.
