Episode 7 - Progress Report #16

I've been working on more renders and a neat little technical feature too 馃檪.
Here is the progress:
Writing: 100%
Coding: 100%
Environments: 80%
New Characters: 6/6
Renders: 58%
Day 18: 430/430
Day 19: 408/408
Day 20: 290/400
Day 21: 0/700
Post-Processing: 51%
Music/Sound: 0%
Testing/Polish: 0%
I'm still working on the one big scene for Day 20, so no big news there. About 70 more renders to go for that scene.
I also spent some time working on something that some of you might find useful 馃槉. I heard that people have problems organizing their saves for different playthroughs and stuff. So I made some changes to how save files are displayed, so that you can see additional information there.
You get your protagonist's name, your main route, episode number, current day, and the status of each relationship path. And if it looks too cluttered to you, I added settings to hide individual stuff too.
This additional metadata needs to be added to a save file separately, which means save files created before 0.7.0 don't have it yet. You can still load and play these saves without issue, you just don't see the additional information on the save slot. If you want the info to show up there as well, just load the save, and overwrite the save with a new one.
You can also still add your own file name, same as before. And I bet a lot of you didn't know that you can rename save slot pages too: Click the page title on the save/load screen and rename. This actually works for most Ren'Py games 馃檪.

Oh hell yes I love this!!
Holy crap, that save page rename thing DOES work in most Ren'Py games! Every one I've tried allows it (so far). This is going to make multi-playthroughs so much easier! And your stats update to the EI saves is something many games should copy. Very cool update!
