Oasis Springs International Airport is the main aviation hub serving Oasis Springs and the surrounding desert region. Originally opened in 1998, the airport was modernized and expanded over the years to accommodate both domestic and international flights.

Named in honor of Nancy Landgraab, whose contributions helped shape the development of Oasis Springs, the airport has become one of the region's most important transportation centers.

Okay, that's probably how I would describe it if this were a real airport. But I really want to add a few words from myself because I absolutely fell in love with this build and, honestly, it took me forever to finish.

Large builds are always challenging for me since most of my recent projects were created on small or medium lots. But this is an airport, so there was no way I could make it tiny. I spent a lot of time working on the details, creating custom banners, signs, wayfinding boards, and all the little things that make the place feel alive. That's probably my favorite part of the entire build. Could I have gone even further? Probably. But maybe we'll build another airport someday (not making any promises lol).

My two favorite areas are definitely the duty free zone and the air traffic control rooms on the third floor. Calling it a tower would be a bit of an exaggeration since it's really just two rooms upstairs, but I love how it turned out. We also have a lot of animated objects throughout the airport, which add so much life to the space and make it feel much more realistic.

The funny thing is that I originally built this airport for myself because I wanted to start filming machinimas. Knowing me, by the time I actually get around to doing that, I'll probably be obsessed with something completely different. So at least now someone else can enjoy it too.

One thing to keep in mind: this lot is mostly decorative and not particularly functional, especially the third floor. There is no staircase leading up there because I didn't want Sims constantly running upstairs to play on the computers. If you'd like access to that area, you can simply place Ravasheen's Invisible Elevator.
