[Preview] Novum et Damnatum - Chaos Primaris?

Hi everyone,

almost exactly a month ago, I said I wanted to work on Chaos Primaris for my next project... Well, I've been working on it ever since!

Soo...most of the groundwork has been finished; the Chaos Primaris race has been finished, as well as the first of five archetypes: The Intercessor

And while we're at it:

I've been optimising how I create the artwork for Athenaeum Heretica. As I've always done it, all character artwork is made by me, using actual 40k miniatures as the basis. Before, I just GIMPed it a bit, and then ran a pencil filter over it. The results where...okay, but inconsistent, and not really adding much.

The new method, tries to incorporate better model photography by me, and then after some different GIMPing, running an Oilify Filter over it. The results are...actually pleasant, and quite nice.

What about Chaos Primaris now?

Oh yeah, back to the topic at hand!
Novum et Damnatum is still gonna take some time, likely more than a month. I'll update the community as I make progress I'm comfortable to share (e.g. the Primaris race is already finished but not visually pleasing enough to pass my high standards).

In the meantime: Have fun and enjoy the rest of the summer!
