Some info i would like to share with you
For those who aren’t aware, the funding for HerHoes Dungeon has unfortunately failed.
This means the project is delayed or temporarily canceled, and I don’t know when I’ll be able to work on it again.
Recently, my life has been a bit messy personal problems, health issues, and all the preparation for the HD Kickstarter took a lot of time and energy. Because of that, I wasn’t as dedicated to Living Dolls: Rebirth (LDR) as I used to be.
The good news is that I’ve managed to solve my personal issues, stabilize my health, and put HD aside for now. I finally feel ready to focus fully on LDR. To make that happen, I’ve cut down most of my hobbies and set up a better work environment to stay productive. It wasn’t easy, but I really want to see LDR become the game I’ve always envisioned.
In the past few weeks, we’ve been discussing the future direction of LDR.
I was honestly afraid to make big changes, but you all seemed very enthusiastic about them, which made me incredibly happy. I’m now shaping LDR into something deeper, more personal, and truly special.
With Racoonhex, a new animator joining the team, we’re already planning the biggest update in the game’s history. That’s still for the future, but before that, a few major updates will come first.
I believe that before the end of the year, I’ll be able to release two or three major updates that will make the game truly playable, with a real gameplay loop moving from an “interesting concept demo” to a "growing tiny game".
I won’t lie, a lot of my time has gone into improving my skills to reach the level of quality I have in mind.
In the end, I don’t want LDR to be seen as “cute for a solo indie dev project,” but rather as “a game made with love and dedication.”
And this time, unlike before, we’re close enough to that goal that I can finally say:
“You’ll see,” instead of “Imagine how cool it could be.”
One very important thing I want to mention:
As always, your poll answers, ideas, and feedback have been incredibly helpful.
They make everything better and often help me spot mistakes before they reach the game. I see every message, and it really matters.
However, I realized that Patreon isn’t the best place to talk.
It’s slow, and discussions depend too much on my posts. The Discord server for the game is much quieter than I’d like, and I’d love to make it more active.
If you want to help me build a stronger, more authentic place, please join the Discord.
I’ll be much more active there, sharing ideas and updates directly with you.
Thank you, as always, for your amazing support.
You keep this project alive.
