The biggest Assetto Corsa project │Singapore Project

Hold on to your seat belts, thanks to all of you contributors on the Patreon, I decided to create the biggest Assetto Corsa project!

I will first ask those interested to read this post carefully to obtain good information on the progress of this enormous project.

For over a year now I have released around ten different maps which were developed over 1 or 2 months for the biggest ones, I never choose to develop a project in the long term. For example Horizon New Gen #1 did not have an update but it was followed by other maps later.

There are advantages and disadvantages to this, firstly I am not carrying out a long-term project which evolves over time, like shutoko or other maps which were large long-term projects and we have a final version exceptional, the advantage of having several projects and proposing something different each time, but this complicates inspiration and new additions are difficult to find over time.

This is why I decided to create one of the biggest Assetto Corsa projects, thanks to you contributors I was able to afford to acquire a very large 3d model which contains all the data of the magnificent country of Singapore and this would not have been possible without you I would like to mention that your contribution is not lost on the contrary!

So I managed to obtain the entire data of the country of Singapore, I would like to explain to you the different types of modeling, there are two types of modder in the Assetto Corsa community, projects like GTA 5 or Need For Speed are project based on already existing games there is no real creation but enormous work on the recovery and adaptation for Assetto Corsa. The second type of creation are like LAC Canyon or Union Island, these are projects created from scratch and it does not require the same creation time because everything must be modeled from scratch.

For Singapore you have probably guessed the project will be entirely modeled from scratch, in the photos that you can view below the project already contains a modeling but it is a model nothing can be used for Assetto Corsa the roads the buildings , the terrain... All of this cannot be used but serves as data to subsequently recreate the entire country, modeling everything from 0.

This is a huge project that will see the light of day in a finalized form in several months or even years. There are two of us to carry out this enormous project and I think I have acquired enough experience to be able to carry out a project of such a large scale.

The project will obviously not be free, we cannot afford it, some people think that an Assetto map can be completed in a few hours, this is not the case, I assure you, a project like this will take around 7,000 hours to finalize.

We will work with versions, trying to offer great advances to be able to discover the map with each version. We are currently working on 1/4 of the country creating the exchangers and we hope to be able to provide a large version in 2 months, maybe three if we think that this will not be enough.

Some may be skeptical about the optimization, personally I hope that we will be able to make a version with the entire country, but this cannot be 100% certain at the moment, however if we see that this will not be possible we will will make versions depending on the power of each configuration, a smaller size for less efficient PCs and hope for a version with the entire country for very efficient PCs. We will try to do everything to have the entire country for any type of setup.

And finally we want to do the whole country, everything you see in the images will be achieved, we are not talking about a simple highway or others.
