january / feburary wip #2
hi all, i hope everyone has had a good january.. it's been a slow month but i've been doing my best to keep working on my newest set.
here are some items that'll be included in HAUS : Kitchen. i'll be honest, i'm STUCK working on the kitchen aid. with this item being functional, there's a good few moving parts ( animations ) to consider and it's a learning curve for me. the toaster you see there at the end will not be functional, but i had to include a deco one as i find they're always missing in my kitchen builds.
i'm still debating on more items to add, aswell as working on the bsg kitchen recolor ( which will be a free download )
mabel update : my lil mabey baby is semi-crawling & has got her first lil tooth.. any parents out there will know the long days that come along with that lol. she's hitting the 8 month mark next week and she's growing so so fast. there are days i wish i had more time to give to you guys & work on sets - i promise i'm not going anywhere tho & i'm doing my best.
i appreciate your patience & kindness as always,
jayel x

i just need to know, did you teach yourself to use blender or similar programs? or do you have a background with graphic design, or 3d modeling or anything? or did you just kind of teach yourself? and how? i mean, i know how to use blender and everything, but if there was one tutorial or piece of knowledge that really helped you in this journey or unlocked your brain for 3d cc making, what was that tutorial? lol ... ♥ your content so much.
hi! i remember watching a LOT of general blender tutorials & some of syboulette’s tutorials on youtube. as you can see from my work beginning in 2023 - it took a LOT of practice to be where im at right now. i would say majority of my “practice” came from trial & error. on the other hand, ive always been creative and always been able to put my mind to things that really interest me! i also studied my favourite cc creators works and tried to replicate that level of work almost. i still dont know everything & could always be better but its taken me 3 years to get to where i am now. in terms of graphic design, i used to be a makeup artist and used to design my own logo & promo’s! in terms of advice, it would be to just keep practicing, keep making mistakes, keep pushing through the voice telling u its not as good as others.. knowing blender is just the beginning and as im sure you know there is just a multitude of learning that comes after that so just keep trying keep creating and im sure you’ll be happy in your work soon!! i hope that was helpful or that gave you some hope in creating. i also thank you for your support as always Jessica!! I see you constantly in my notifications & im glad I’ve continued to be a creator you love 🫶🏼
Love the Mabel updates ❤️ keep them coming please!! Don’t worry about us - you’re already a star mama
