Introducing Gloomy Washer and Futariuum’s Gate
Hi everyone! We are Gloomy Washer, a team of three people developing a futanari-themed visual novel RPG for PC and Android. Our project is called Futariuum’s Gate and we’d love for you to try it out and support us if you like it!
The project:
A few months ago, we began formulating the concept for a futanari-themed video game that would become Futariuum’s Gate. It would be a story-heavy visual novel, with social sim elements, an explorable point-and-click world, and turn-based RPG combat.
Since then, we’ve come to the point where we’re now putting the finishing touches on the game and are ready to release the first build on the 1st of August, 2023. We can’t wait to see what you think!
The team:
Gloomy Washer is a tight-knit team of three juggling various different roles to develop the game, and all of us are fully intending to work on it long-term.
Nethuum (he/they) is an experienced artist of lewd content, particularly in the futanari genre. He functions as the lead artist and game director, along with designing the sound and managing the game’s marketing.
TeraWatt (they/she) is a writer of many different works, but most prominently a writer of futanari content, including fanfiction for various sites. They are the Lead Scenario and Character Writer, as well as being responsible for copywriting and PR.
AB (she/her) is the team’s Lead Programmer. AB previously has experience with mods for Ren’Py games, such as gallery modes, walkthrough functions and translations.
The state of the game:
The first build of Futariuum’s Gate, which we are currently in the process of polishing, will be released on the 1st of August. The first build will contain the first half hour of the game’s narrative, introducing the first three characters as well as featuring eight hand-drawn CGs. The point-and-click world will also be explorable, namely the protagonist’s house. From the second build onwards, the RPG battle system will be implemented.
We aim to have builds finished and released on a monthly basis. As we finish off the main systems we need, we will be able to predict the work required for each build more accurately.

Your support will be critical to us being able to sustain this project long-term. We are available for funding on several platforms, and we have several tiers on each platform so you can customize your contributions to the project. Additionally, your contributions will not just be financial - you will be able to communicate with us, and provide feedback and suggestions for future content.
In return, we will provide benefits depending on the tier you’ve subscribed to. We currently have three tiers available: The Washer gives you access to the game and ability to contribute via voting for future content. The Cuteist gives you more voting power and monthly benefits relating to the game’s art.
