Alright, everyone, letās take it easy. Hereās the deal. Iāve unintentionally created several sketches for a Witch Bunny comic. Iāve done so many drafts and pages, and they turned out surprisingly well. Now, Iām seriously considering taking it a step further and giving you a clearer view of the story, starting with how Ruan and Lorenaās relationship begins.
Why am I saying letās take it slow? Because this is a recent idea, and believe it or not, Iāve just started working on it. I see a lot of potential in this comic, but since itās still in its early stages and Iām already focused on the animation, I wanted to release a few pages first to see if it sparks your curiosity and if itās something youād really want to see more of. Itās important for me to understand whether this is the direction youād enjoy before fully diving into it.
While Iām investing more into the animation, Iām determined to make this comic as visually stunning as possible.
Oh, and by the way, what do you think of the manga style? Or would you prefer it to be colored like the animation? Iām kind of liking the manga style, but weāll see what works best with what I can do right now.
So, thatās the plan. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

either way, the process and end result are going to be amazing!
Omg omgggggg I am absolutely loving the manga style. I feel like as some others have said, switching to colored panels when there is a pivotal/special moment in a scene and then going back to regular manga panels after that would be super cool and elevates the panels because it would serve as a fun detail
I think someone might have mentioned it but you might do a combination of manga style and then colored key frames. There are no rules haha so you might even do a few pages that are coloured before switching back to manga. Could be fun and definitely the comic would be a lovely addition to what you are already doing š«š«ā¤ļø
wow, i think this is a great idea!!! i admire your creativity in any form ;D
Thank you āŗļøāØ!!
The manga style looks great but I'm sure color would also look great! So, whichever gives you more joy to create!
I love when itās colored. But will see! Thank you š
Loving what Iām seeing so far and go to know that a story is brewing. Your work inspired me to come up with a few ideas for stories that take place in this word and with these characters. Iād love to share them with you and learn more about your creative process when it comes to these characters and this word if youāre interested. I really think this idea has legs and I want to see it grow in any way that I can help
Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and kind words Connor! It truly means a lot to me that my work has inspired you, and I really appreciate your support. I have a clear vision for the story and its development, so I prefer to shape it on my own. I hope you understand! That being said, Iād love to hear how my world and characters have inspired you. Feel free to share what youāre most excited to see in the story or what aspects resonate with you the most! Again, I truly appreciate your support and excitement for my project. It means the world to me!
i want to see the manga! this is exciting!
Thanks for letting me know ! ^^
Color like your animations would be nice yes š„° but canāt forget about time consumption so a manga/like style would have to be more appropriate if youāre still going to continue animations. I prefer the colors as long as itās somewhat simplified so you can continue on main projects without too much to worry
Definitely ! Sometimes I get too excited about my projects š . So I better watch out this time .
The manga style would definitely work! Iām glad youāre showing more of their stories in other forms šš I think itās a great way to show the story without overworking urself, take breaks! <33
Thatās great to know !
I think for something like a story you are trying to make, a manga style would look really good with the occasional styled panel to emphasize certain moments or actions. The concept is really interesting!
It would also help take a bit of the stress of balancing a fully styled comic series and animation as high of quality as yours while giving you the chance to add backstory and characterizations without having to make more scenes to the animation.
Probably start off small with the comics so you can invest more in the animations. You could like write out a timeline/ plan a schedule for releasing smol comics in-between the animations. A friend of mine, who draws solely comics, started out drawing smol/simple (no or little BG) 2 to 4-panel funny comics a week. He slowly built up after a few years to also releasing 6-panel comics, in addition, every two weeks and recently he started doing a chapter every 1-2 months for his main series. He also does a little bit of animation now but he focuses a lot on his comics mainly. Itās really about how much story/art details you want to put into the comics and the speed with which you can make them, while also minding your schedule and projects. Itās a lot to think about š but I think you can do it. My friendās advice to me was: āUsually smol, funny, and simple comic skits can help flesh out the characters & world at the beginning until you find yourself ready to do the larger, more detailed comic/manga chapters.ā Slow and steady wins the race; but creativity and passion is what draws people in. We all support you and love your work. We are here for you š
Yes totally ! Gotta be more organized on this one. We will see! And thank you for the advice ĖĖ
WAIT, Did she just crash š„ into himš
Haha no ! She would never do that. I showed two rough drawings from different moments.
YES PLEASE
