Banshee's DDS Exporter | Adobe Substance Painter Plugin

Made a plugin that automatically exports textures you make in Adobe Substance Painter as DDS files, without you having to export as TIF first, then run them in Compressonator and messing with the settings yourself. This plugin does it for you and saves considerable time. Well-suited for WWE 2K25 / WWE 2K26 modders and other video game content creators working with the DDS texture file format.

Tutorial:

• Download CompressonatorCLI (not GUI) from https://github.com/GPUOpen-Tools/compressonator/releases/tag/V4.5.52

• Install

• Download my plugin

• Extract (Password: PepsiPlunge)

• Copy "Adobe" folder to "Documents"

• Open Substance Painter

• Click "Python" in the upper bar

• Run "Banshee's DDS Exporter" once

• When exporting, choose "Banshee's WWE 2K Exporter" in "Output template"

• Choose "tiff" in "File type"

• Enjoy!
