Yeah! Working!
Hey everyone!
Just in the next few days, we'll finally be releasing the demo for Steam. There won't be any new content in it, but you'll see the updated effects, as well as the backgrounds (most of them are hand-made, though some still need more work).
After that, we'll get started on new content.
Honestly, it's a shame that we want to take a break and work on something else for a while. I like Nyx, but we made too many mistakes, which landed us in production hell.

Yeah, it's truly a shame. I know next to nothing about Unity coding and shit like that, but is it really that bad? Or are you just tired of Nyx University as a concept/idea so you're running away to another project instead of locking yourself in and fixing/rebuilding everything? Don't get me wrong, I kinda like the Nyx setting and all that, but I'm worried it gets abandoned like fr and this another project of your will be maybe better in technical sense but not good as this. Thanks
It's not Unity :) I don't want to make any promises. I love Nyx. Nyx is based on a story I wrote 8 years ago (it was actually serious, though). And I wrote the plot a long time ago, all the way to the very end, with all the routes for each of the girls. And without any irony, I genuinely like the characters, but a lot of stuff happened along the way that made it impossible for us to keep up the pace of work. And right now it's just easier for us to make something smaller, to get a bit of a break + support ourselves financially. Afterwards I'd really love to come back to Nyx, but again: I don't want to make empty promises.
