Illustrations starting 2024

When I started working on Commlink nearly 2 years ago, I decided I would commission artists using money from this Patreon and from other sources. That gave this Patreon some boost and allowed having metatypes and metavariants for Shadowrun illustrated.
Now with Mondtor being worked on, I plan to do the same for culture modules. Fortunately Florian Stitz, the artist who illustrated all Spliitermond archetypes and lots more, agreed to take this commission from February onwards. I attached some samples (all (c) by Uhrwerk Verlag) to this post, to show what kind of illustrations you can expect. I hope you like them like I do.

But ... there always is a "But" ... that requires some change.

First of all, due to the nature of Florian's illustration technique, his work is more time consuming and therefore his commission fee is significantly higher than that of AAS. That means that instead of getting two illustrations from AAS, you will be getting one from Florian.
I am not done with AAS yet - he still has to illustrate all infected characters, so I will likely mix both illustrators months by month.

And secondly, both illustrators raised their fees this year. Right now I can just barely afford paying Florian every month. That is okay for the moment, but should the financial support of this Patreon drop, I will be forced to commission Florian less often.

Cheers and have a wonderful X-mas time with your family.
