Genesis 4.0.0 released

Yesterday was release day for a good year of work. Next to our normal work on preparing supplements for Genesis, we were busy reworking the whole graphical user interface, preparing the application to be multilingual and adding support for another roleplaying game. After 6 pre-release versions, we just released the fourth major version of our character generation software.

If you are a german user, you can expect (nearly) all the functionality you got used to from Genesis 3.x for the RPGs Splittermond, Space 1889 and Shadowrun 5. While the inner workings stayed identical, the user interface received a complete overhaul. In addition, we added Coriolis - The Third Horizon as a fourth RPG.

All other users will see Genesis in english and receive support for the RPGs Space 1889 and Coriolis. Shadowrun 5 unfortunately did not make it in time to get prepared for an english release.

For now, I intend to concentrate on fixing the bugs reported, but otherwise take a few weaks break from coding major changes (Though my todo list already spans some months work.)

I thank you all for your continued support here on patreon - it really means a lot to me. Since 4.0.0 is out, my focus returns to moving our resources on pubic hosted commercial cloud services, which was my intention from the beginning of this Patreon, but stepped in the background as my workload increased.

But this must wait two weaks more. :)
I wish you all a wonderful christmas and a happy new year and hope to see and read you here next year.
