Workshop Report 2024.11

Hello everyone,

I am slowly trying to spent some time on the character generator projects again.

From the stuff I mentioned in the last report, I managed to tackle the license problem and the OS X compatibility stuff - which alone took me several evenings to get it fixed.

For Commlink I managed to enter all data from Smooth Operations - it should be included in release 1.8.0. Since I did not test it yet, I did not publish the new version yet, but you can already try it out using the "Testing" version (when you use the Updater). Let me know if you encounter problems.

Just today I talked with a german Shadowrun player (SiusX), who is willing to help entering content from publications. I helped him with his setup and showed him how to contribute. He is likely adding the content from the german PDF publications "Datapuls: Bundeswehr" and "Datapuls: Spezialeinheiten".

I also made some baby steps to continue working on the Lifepath generation rules for Shadowrun, but I frustrated about the current state really fast - I am not sure if and how I will continue working on this part.

That's it for the moment. I am not sure what I will do next: Working on Commlink, working on Mondtor or returning to pause my character generation work again are my options. If you don't hear from me until the end of the month, I continued working :)
