I love Abby. Her and Ellie both. They're both on the same revenge mission. Killing the person who killed their dads. They were both single-minded in their focus. Abby spent FIVE YEARS hunting Joel. The way I look at it is that they're two sides of the same coin. They're reflections of each other. The one thing they got incredibly wrong with Seattle is the thunder and lightning. I was stationed at Lewis for two years, and it just doesn't storm like that. It rains, but it's usually not very heavy, and I didn't see lightning once. Ellie probably didn't deliver the baby because she couldn't get clear instructions from Mel. She had no idea what she was doing. And Tommy and Jesse trying wouldn't have mattered, because as soon as the mother's heart stops beating the baby's brain stops getting oxygen. The baby was dead before they ever got there.
