I’m gonna need you to watch “Pearl Harbor” next!!

Really enjoyed this. It's definitely a movie to remember and one to reflect on. I've watched this many times and with veterans before, as well. They often had a good bit to say about the soldier's portrayals in this. Most good, some bad but the actors in this did a very fine job. I'm glad that you were able to watch this with us. Nearly all of the reactors that I subscribe to on Patreon have watched this - I enjoyed most but this one was very well done. Thank you for reacting to this!

If you want some military themed stuff to react to that will make you laugh instead of cry, check out The Fat Electrician on YouTube. He does videos about different military topics and he has a hilarious way of telling stories. You might enjoy it.

Lots of people recommending Band of Brothers, which is a must watch for sure, but if you want something more modern and perhaps relatable to your situation, Generation Kill is another excellent HBO mini series about the 2003 assault on Baghdad. Its a true story as well, following real soldiers' stories. For you, that would be my recommendation over Band of Brothers if you want something you can probably relate to a lot more.

If you got the time for a series, "The Masters of the Air" would be very interesting from an air force perspective.
