Yes actually it's the opposite of what you are saying henry, there is a problem with video link but it's with the links you post below the video that often fail(Vimeo) and not the patreon itself, like if I click on the thumbnail everything works, so no point in in contacting patreon support

Just put out old videos to you tube for everyone to enjoy and take donations if you need cash. A lot of people love you for your videos, and you love making them for us.

Consider uploading ALL your videos on YouTube and Vimeo to Rumble.com for backup. You need to start growing backup channel. Patreon is not safe either. Too many Woke commies work there and will delete your account for anything you might say wrong. Start making backup at subscribestar. they don't discriminate at all

Never had an issue personally but I do feel for anyone who is running into barriers. Hopefully it is a vocal minority sort of thing where the issue is actually fairly minor overall, and hopefully it can be sorted easily.

One thing come to my mind. Can it be case like in steam AO where certain areas are geoblocked because adult content.

I'm not sure, as I'm pretty new to subscribing to Patreon, but another Patreon called the yard, Ludwig's podcast, uses something other than Vimeo but I don't know what it is. I always thought it was a Patreon built-in player.

Never had any issue playing your videos on Patreon with Firefox.

I've never had any issues playing videos on patreon. It's likely they refuse to help solve the issue because the issue exists SOLELY on the PC or Phones of the people who cannot watch for some reason. This is not an issue on patreon or vimeo's systems. People often don't know their systems are compromised by viruses, or that settings they have enacted on their browsers have crippled the function of the browser to the point that it can't just play a video. The user is at fault in most all situations. IT experience talking here.

this sounds like the security Cirt issue. first update your browser to current level. 2) get a real open web browser, (not edge or the likes.) if it still is happening then, spam their help desk.

You've conditioned me to expect terrible news lol. There's another creator I watch who was running into the same issue, they eventually decided to upload the videos to Dropbox instead, it meant leaving the Patreon site to watch them, and the videos couldn't be over an hour else they'd get cut off (you'd have to download them to watch more than an hour), but it worked out pretty well, they didn't have to pay the vimeo fees that way too. Maybe that's an option if they don't fix it

from Illinois, no problems with the videos here on pc and iPhone. For the people with the problems try a different device, if it works on something else then there's probably a video driver issue on your device. if it doesn't work on anything it might be some region problems between vimeo and where you're from.

Never had an issue with playing vids, but if it's all the same then maybe if there was a template that can be copy and pasted on an email, that would cut the hastle. Links can be added at the end or something for the videos in question but I think the most annoying part is typing up the email itself so the template could give direction

Never had an issue thus far. It always plays in the app/site or it opens a new tab to Vimeo. However, I will email Patreon if I ever come across any issue.

I've found that going through the patreon doesn't launch the videos but going through the website does.

I, personally, have not had any issues. I use Google Chrome for iPad and can view directly on Patreon. I hope this can get solved quickly because we all know nobody wants to miss out on any of your content. Absolute premium quality as always!

I was having problems with the Vimeo app, but in the browser it works fine

Most of your vids will play, but some come up as "Unavailable." Do they get pulled after a certain amount of time? Or is this the problem you are reporting? At least it doesn't happen with your new vids.

I used to only have issues playing videos on the Patreon mobile app, but on PC it went fine. Weird.

I've had a few problems loading them on the app, but a work around is opening it in a web browser (either mobile or desktop). Not ideal of course, so definitely contact Patreon and Vimeo to get them to fix the app, but useful in the meantime.

I have never had a serious problem I eventually get it I'm in Canada don't know if that makes a difference or not. good luck others though.
