Doctors charge the insurance $10k because the insurance is only going to pay them a fraction of that because of contracted rates. When you sign a contract to be an in network provider for a given insurance you're agreeing to get paid whatever they decide to pay you. The bill may have been for $10k but the provider probably only got $2k, which barely covered the wages of everyone involved in the process of providing care and billing for it. Not only is the consumer shafted by insurance companies but so are the providers. It's an inherently predatory system. And because insurance companies where prohibited from profiting too much after the ACA and had to reimburse members for taking too much of their money, a lot of them figured out they can just buy more computers or hire more workers and use that new operating cost to keep more of your money since it's not technically profit.

I can confirm that the method mentioned for taking photos works. The best picture I ever took of myself I set my DSLR on a tripod and took pictures with a remote while slowly walking toward the camera. Sure, it created 49 unusable photos, but it made one perfect one.

People claiming AC is heating up the planet are dumber than rocks. AC does not create heat - it transfers heat. The heat was already there. Climate change is primarily caused by burning huge amounts of fossil fuels like coal oil and natural gas. Ps. fossil fuels are not dinosaurs, it's plant matter buried through millions of years of sedimentation and flooding. Natural gas is just gasses generated withing the planets core, mantel and crust. It's harmless while it remains locked in the rocks. Fracking it and burning it makes it a greenhouse gas. But Airconditioning is NOT a cause of climate change.
An AC unit is one of the, if not the single, most electricity hungry devices that most people own. The claim is that the electricity the AC uses (often provided by coal, oil, and natural gas power plants) is what's heating up the planet. But that point is largely moot in the face of what large corporations are doing to the planet.

Okay so the overweight celebs going on ozempic thing. Their doctors probably told them they were diabetic or pre-diabetic and if they didn't lose weigh they might die.
I'm a diabetic and my doc put me on Ozempic a couple of years ago and I lost more than I needed too. Two years later Instead of gaining all of that weight back like I was supposed to when I quit, I lost 40 more pounds. I've lost over 100 pounds and look like a famine victim, I can't gain weight, my doctors tell me to eat anything I can and not worry about the sugar🙄. The O is killing me, if the only problem I had with it was a belly ache I would tell everyone including my worst enemy to stay away from it. The pain in my stomach is the least of my problems, stay away everyone.

on august 2nd 2027 the south of spain will get a total solar eclipse. this year on august 12th 2026 the north of spain and a bit of the south of france will get a total solar eclipse. and in januari 26th 2028 there will be YET ANOTHER total solar eclipse in spain. spain hitting the once in a few thousand year lottery here. as for any specific city. normally it's around 400 years between 2 total solar eclipses in the same exact spot. july 22 2028 total solar eclipse in australia and new zealand. also 2029 the only place you can see a total solar eclipse is in space. nowhere on earth. 2030 total solar eclipse in north africa. (as you can see the trend by now. it's moving further south each time it happens untill it circles back around.) oh and in 2033 you can see one in canada. for you muricans.
ps: i saw the one in the netherlands in 1999. but that was a total full solar eclipse. the standard image we know of one. but the moon drifts further away. now solar eclipses have become sort of a ring of fire. the moon is slightly smaller so the effect is much cooler. so you wanna see it now before it changes again.
