Seriously, canceling work because of some mild snow is such weak sauce. I work partly outdoors (Chimney sweeping), which means we climb and stand on rooftops. We get actual snowstorms and -25C here sometimes, and we still go out and do the work. Just dress properly. In my 7 years in this job, we have never cancelled for bad weather, not once.
I didn't think chimney sweeping was still a thing. In the UK, most chimney's got blocked up, by the government, about two decades ago.

Can confirm, the english dub of "Highschool DxD" is absolutely the correct version. The word "unhinged" comes to mind when I think back on it.
They do have fun with the dialog, but I could never give up the Japanese VA for Akeno and hearing her say "ara ara".
I live on the east coast and got hit by the snowstorm. I can tell you that when I was told not to come into work due to the snow, they did not pay us. Last year we lost power for three days due to a massive storm at the end of April. They refused to pay us. Two weeks later in a town hall meeting, they told us how we are not a number, but people and family. The bull shit runs deep at this company. They enjoy having us grab our ankles and won't even spit on it before they fuck us over.
