I dispute the color blindness of men concept! I challenge you to get a series of subtly differently colored cards and ask a man to arrange them darkest to brightest. What men have trouble with is all the names of the colors, I think.

Concerning the color perception thing, guys can see all the same colors women can. The only difference is, if a guy is straight, we just don't give a dang. Primary and secondary colors work fine for us. We aren't that complicated.

Actually, the one with the guy getting on top of the motorcycles is real, it's in the Dominican Republic (i live here) and i've been at that intersection (Winston Churchill avenue and Gustavo Mejia Ricart avenue) and that guy does it in different intersections to get bikers to respect transit laws and stuff. Perceiving colors is actually based on exposure more than gender differences. For example, growing up in a place where there's no greenery, a person would perceive green when they saw it as a shade of blue. People working in fashion, or any job related to variations of pigmenting are exposed to small color changes quite a bit so they tend to be able to not only distinguish shade variations, but name them. Most people can only tell different similar shades by holding them together to see that they look different.
