I would suggest you read, "The Thousand Romantic Nights of Count Fistula". 😉 I doubt it exists, but I'm in my 60's and first suggested it for reading in High School. So yes, we knew about Fisting, I just didn't think anybody did that kind of stuff.

Andrea parsneau, "the wandering inn". some adorable canadian woman/girl gets isekaied into a world that as merciless as it is varied. she changes it slowly, but holy shit does it go from "cutesy poo lets make ice cream" to "theres a monster made of stolen skin that, if it touches you, add your FUCKING SKIN to its collection!" real fuckin fast! i probably have more. thats jsut the first couple of faves, that are women, off the dome. love you guys. keep doin what your doin.
I had no idea there was an anime character named Light, so reading the title I thought it was about something that's lightly gay, which made it somewhat confusing.
The series is called "Death Note" and is known for being a psychological thriller, as the protagonist is kind of a villain. He finds a magic notebook that anyone whose name is written on the paper therein will die. If no method is depicted, it defaults to a heart attack. That's the basic rule for the series. I don't know if you remember the meme (it's pretty old by now), but Light went viral for eating chips dramatically: "I'll take a potato chip... and EAT!"

Kai, try J Penner, her Adenashire series is good so far 2 of 5 books. The first book is "A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic. Charlie N Holmberg, yes a woman named Charlie. Her Wimbrel House series is a good read. The first book is "Keeper of Enchanted Rooms" A lot of what I read is really dark with a lot of death and destruction. Sometimes I need to read something that is light, fun and nonviolent. I hope you like these books as much as I do.
