Shoes in the home is not a white people thing, it's an American thing.
I rushed to the comments to type exactly that hahaha
To Kai: The reason women have stronger legs and bigger asses is because women's overall shape gives them a wider lower body (hips, thighs, ass etc.) and men's gives them a wider upper body (chest, shoulders, back).
For the 'non-shoes in house people' How do you bring in and put away holiday decorations? I mean, when I have to make 20 trips from the front yard, through the house, and down to the basement to store everything after Halloween, I am not stopping to take my shoes off for each trip. And I am not wearing sock on my bare concrete floor in the basement.
Slip-ons. A pair at the front door, a pair at the basement door
I wear shoes because we have 3 dogs and the wife loves to give them ice cubes to eat. I am not getting my socks wet from stepping in the wet spots. Also we have a doggie door, so they are in and out constantly. So the reality is, our floors are only clean for very short periods of time. Then again, we also grew up in the 70's, and as such are not fixated on dirt and things being completely spotless.
Shoes dont stay on all the time, just for a while after coming home. I usually take mine off after I go upstairs (I have a shoe rack that hangs off my closet door; thats where I put them). When visiting other ppl's house they generally stay on unless its an extended visit, or they are dirty from mud or snow. So by the time you would take a shower your shoes would already be off and put away, you'd either be walking barefoot or be using slippers when exiting the shower.
Never ask white people you explain something to you. We'll make up some bullshit and then stay for the next 4 centuries ;-)
Carpet. Carpet makes me uncomfortable when I am aloud to keep my shoes on in other peoples houses. I just don't want to muddy the carpet.
Here is what no one has told you so far: the people who wear shoes in the house don't even think about the shoes bringing anything into the house; they act as though the shoes are perfectly clean and they don't even think about the reality of it. As a result, there is no system like what you are describing. They'll walk with shoes through their kitchen, into the living room, down the hall and into their bedroom, then they'll take their shoes off, jump in the shower, then walk barefoot back down that same hall, through the same living room, and back to the kitchen, grab a water, and then go back to the bedroom and jump right into bed with their dirty ass feet. I grew up with people like this and they act like I'm crazy because my house is strictly no shoes.
"White people" !?!?!? I am as white as it gets and have been for 48 years. I was raised not to wear shoes in the house. To this day, if I forget my keys on the counter after putting my shoes on, I take my shoes off and go and get the keys. THEN I put my shoes back on by the door. It's just the way it is. It's how you keep your house clean! Don't want to track nasty ass street stuff into my home! And by the way, I was raised in the United States my entire life. And still live there.
Josh, i know, it's very weird to me too. Now I am Bulgarian, but I have seen this in the US, where people do not take their shoes off. I live in the US, and it is true that not everyone does it. One of my ex's dad had house shoes, like running shoes but for the house... It must be something from those states without winters. Right?
I wear crocs at all times from the moment I get out of bed till I get back in it except on days where I go to gym and wear actual shoes.
"White people"???... it's literally only in the US.
by "white friend" they are meaning the people from the USA, cause i believe almost every other white country do not wear shoes in the house. As a white Canadian we indeed take out shoes off in the house, I do not want to be lumped into those americans.
I shall not admit listening to anything.
Being from Sweden, I've never understood the wearing shoes indoors thing either.
I think there's one unequivocal fact we can take from this. Kai really really really likes looking at super buff dudes. Like a lot. lol
Ok, I'll add my voice to the chorus, though I admit I'm a bit on the extreme end: when I wake up, I put my boots on. When I go to sleep, I take them off. If I walk on the floor barefoot, I know my feet are dirty and have a towel laid out by my bed so I can clean them before entry. I also have tile throughout my entire house - no carpet, no rugs. If you think about it, if you have a house and you have pets, they don't wipe their feet, and I'll be damned if I go scrubbing my three dogs' feet every time they want to come in, so the floor is just going to be dirty. Also combat boots are hard to take off and I hate the loosey-goosey feeling and unreadiness of slippers.
The white guy shoe thing (personal edition): I used to take my shoes off at home and walk around barefoot, but I have sensitive skin and over time got Dishydrotic Eczema on the bottom of my feet from walking on carpet. So now I change into house slippers like Mr Rogers as soon as I walk in, these slippers never see the outside.
Kai calling men into vocaloid gay got me reacting like obiwan to Anikan
Good thing I’m not into Vocaloids, I like actual idol singers because they’re real.
Nah guys, We just take off our shoes in our rooms. I only give myself like 5 to ten mins to get ready. Slap everything on in the morning right away. keeps us from having to stop at the door first. Just like my wallet and keys thats all in my room. feels more comfortable to have everything in one place tbh.
I refuse to believe there's anything wrong with Join Us For A Bite. I just added the VoicePlay cover like last week 🤣
We don't wear shoes 24/7. I have never had to take my shoes off to get in the shower or go to sleep. I just don't take my shoes off/put them on at the front door. I put them on as part of getting dressed in my bedroom, and then take them off in my bedroom when I get home and am doing things like taking out my wallet and keys and putting them away.
Great video!
I am surprised by the lack of goon material on Kai's page.
The Future Home Gym Dude was listening to "One Piece at a Time" by Johnny Cash.
👍🏻
SPLIT was an awesome movie. I highly recommend it.
The cougar video was cool, but if that things ears go back, you are screwed.
Me personally and what most of my family does is we take out shoes off before stepping on the mat so out feet don't touch the cold floor then we take off our clothes put in the dirty clothes bin next to the shower turn the water on and then step into the shower. When I go to bed yes I take my shoes of and place then by my bed on in my shoe drawer that fits under the bed
Kai looking cute today!!
Ooo new setup for Henry!
Can't wait to see the rest!
