Re: the McD ice cream machines always seeming to be broken: Here's what I've heard: The ice cream machines are really tricky to properly clean, and can get nasty and have stuff growing in them that's hard to root out once it gets started (mold, fungus, etc). So some locations don't like to mess with them and just turn them off and report them as broken to the management, and others have them down for maintenance and cleaning a lot because they let them get nasty. Between those two factors, sometimes it's hard to find a location that currently has a running and working ice cream machine.

they still make money on ice cream dont worry its just a pain to wash the ice cream machine nobody wants to wash it so its very often unsafe to eat since its packed with bacteria or they just washed it not long ago and they wanna keep it clean

05:55 an ice cream machine actually needs to be cleaned... meaning the "worker" actually has to do a small amount of what they are being paid for... you know, "working"... you know that ain't happening, so the ice cream machine is "broken".

i hear that them saying the machine is broken is because the machines have a selfcleaning cycle and it does not sound good to say that the machine is being cleaned right now because then costumers might think that the machine was filthy when its just a normal cleaning thing

You can get addicted to anything. Excess of anything is bad for you. Even bad things can have positive qualities. All this is to say that whether you drink, so drugs, indulge in caffeine, watch corn, etc., the problem is never the thing itself but whether or not you let it control you. It's fine doing what you like as long as what you do isn't actively hurting others or becoming the core of your existence

The McDonald's ice cream machine situation is actually very depressing. Basically, McDick's and the company that makes the machines have an agreement for mutual profit. The franchise owners are not allowed to fix the machine themselves. No matter how minor the problem might actually be, they have no choice but to call the company that makes the machine to fix it for them. And the money for that call comes out of their profits and not McDick's. I forget who it was, but they did a documentary about it on YouTube.

Forget giving up drinking. Join me in the caffeine free lifestyle. It's astonishing how hard it is to give up caffeine but amazing how little you miss it once you do. I would rate it close to quitting smoking though it takes substantially less time.

You're not describing a loss leader, that's a bait and switch. Come for 1 product and it's always broken. My local store has been broken for 3 years.

The reason why the McDonald's machines are always broken is because they are so hard to clean and they are in loan to the company, so only the manufacturer can work on them and it costs so much just to get the tech out, it's not worth the cost to keep it working

No bros... the MCDs ice cream machine is always broken because reasons. There was a whole documentary on it. It's sensors are super critical and the staff don't follow cleaning protocols so the sensors are always tripped and they have to wait for a service tech.
