The Ellen thing honestly I don't understand. It's obvious that the purpose of it was to combine entertainment value and doing good at the same time. The entire goal is to have stakes, and there would be stakes either way, what could not be there however is the money that goes to charity. It doesn't actually bring them much benefit at all to do that, so it's a bit shitty to denounce that. The truth is that even if it amounted to 1 % of what they made from that same show, it would still be more than what a lot of people give relative to their revenue. Most people give 0%.

Regarding that first bit about the guy with the check. A long time ago I worked with a nice elderly asian lady that asked if I would like to work part time for her. I would have been collecting gambling debts and driving shall we say ladies of negotiable virtue around and collecting their fees it that helps. I did turn it down as I hate violence.

I really like to see Henry and Kai in these videos. I don’t have anything bad to say about Jeannie, but I would rather watch Henry and Kai.
The whole topless protest thing cracks me up. Every time I see someone promoting it it's always an OF "model" or the 'Free the Nipple' movement staging a protest in a town or city that already allows topless women in public. They never seem to actually check the local ordinances first. On one a few months ago the local chief of police even tried to remind everyone involved that it wasn't actually illegal there and just go for it. You'd be amazed how many cities and states allow it already, everyone just assumes it's illegal.
I'm not sure how to politically correctly say this, but the "flow" between Kai and Henry is more effortless and to me that makes the video better to watch and although the video may be the same amount of time as those in the past, it feels like it goes by faster. Kai and Henry's personality are more of a match, so I think that is the reason the videos seem better. I hope the future of MXR stays on this track. I told my girlfriend that a new MXR video just came out, and she stopped what she was doing and jumped on the couch to watch it with me. She wasn't that interested in the videos before it became Henry and Kai, so I would say she feels the same way I do.
I couldn't agree more. Kai and Henry's energy match well, whereas as cute and sweet as Jeannie was, I always got a bit put out when she would give Henry that "I don't approve of that" -look, when Henry was just a guy being a guy. I married a tomboy myself, a girl who was a pre-Olympic gymnast, and rode dirt bikes with her family, and her energy and mine match perfectly, as she "gets" what guys like, and is into it, just like Kai seems to be for Henry. And Kai has that tomboy energy in bags full.
