09:10 i did an internship doing strength analysis for digger cabs. Those cabs are designed to take thousands of kilograms of rock falling onto them with a considerable safety factor. Conpany i was working for tested the cab designes by dropping 30000kg boulders onto them and they where fine. Buried under rubble, you might be, but you wont experience physical injury.

Sometimes public bathrooms will only have a urinal and a handicap toilet stall and that's it, so if you aren't handicapped and need to go #2 you have to use the stall. Its not frowned upon nearly as much as parking in a handicap space when you aren't disabled.
I once experienced the same parking dilemma, but it was not due to a machine error, but because they gouged parking prices due to a concert. We had arrived too early to be allowed to get the all-day rate (it would not let you until after 0900, and we arrived at 0700), so I went ahead and paid for 2 hours of parking ($5) and planned to pay the $20 all-day parking fee at 0900. When I went to do so, they jumped the price to $45 because of the concert we were seeing. I was not happy. But then I noticed the fine for letting your parking pass expire was a $32 flat penalty. So, I said fuck it and refused to pay the exorbitant $45 fee, figuring if I get ticketed, I still come out ahead. I never got ticketed.

A handicap stall isn't solely for individuals with a handicap. A handicap stale is the one that uses different standard to make it accessible for handicap people. Just like if you walk up a wheelchair ramp at a building, instead of using the stairs, you aren't a horrible person.
Agreed except situation like large venues like baseball airport 15 regular on e handicap the handicap has 0 lined up the rest have 30-45 lined up. And Ann able bodied tries handicap unless he has non visual reason.

Correct. They face a court, get berated to their eyeballs then fined a rather large fine, then deported and banned from entering Germany for a few years. German citizens go to prison for 3 months to 2 years.
My favorite professors were always the ones that did not grade on a curve. Not only did it indicate that the grading would be more fair but that the teacher had confidence in their ability to actually educate us well on the subject of the class.
The mother in the headphone bit is right, it's not the kid's fault, it's hers for not educating and disciplining him properly.

Regarding the grading: It is academic teachers that do not understand what their task and responsibility is and/or that are going for the "safe" (for them) grading approach: They force a normal distribution. I personally think it is complete BS. If all of the class meets or exceeds my expectations, then they all get a good grade. If most or all are in the failing or close-to-failing range, I need to ask myself very seriously whether my teaching was bad (never happened to me, knock on wood). This is not an "us vs. them" situation. When teaching, you try to accomplish something together with the students. Quite a few teachers (especially academic ones) do not seem to understand that.
You are so right Tansi. My mother was a teacher. Both of my grandmothers were teachers. Aunts, uncles, cousins, and one sister have been teachers. Good teachers don't have jobs. They have callings. If your calling is to teach, then a test isn't to find fault in a student. It is to help the student to learn what they may have missed in your class. If you are supposed to teach a student to read and they learn to read, then you are a hero. If you blame the student for not learning to read, then you are a villain. Nor were you called to be a teacher. A good teacher will keep trying until you either learn to read or they aren't allowed to teach any more. You sound like one of the heroes Tansi. Keep up the good work.

It usually does not. On the first offense. But it is a really bad idea to use "symbols of anti-constitutional movements" in Germany. The Germans have learned that lesson.

Something to consider before condemning the woman with the German knife: A lot of WWII veterans brought home war trophies that were marked with symbols of the Nazi Party and many family members retain those items out of a sense of pride in what their fathers and grandfathers did to defeat the Nazis who carried them. I’m not saying that was the case in this clip, I’m simply saying it’s important to research the facts before placing judgement. Personally, I would be too afraid of the negative energies associated with such a thing.
