Then you get banned for a week. However, it says your account is in good standing.

When you guys posted a video explaining how you sued some POS that stole $$$ from your sponsors, I thought "well, I hope that person does not have POS friends up in YT". Even if you did not recoup your $$$ just suing and exposing that easily ID person costed him $$$... I bet my right gonad either that one guy or someone like that screw you over. But you know what - keep doing your thing because people like that can never run away from karma.

Jeannie this isn't karma, this is a vindictive person who is caught up in the "culture war" and has become delusional into thinking he or she is fighting some sort of grand strategy epic. I wish MxR Mods will be back because I have a playlist with vids and that was how I knew which mods to download upon system crash or something. I can't even check that to see if I have everything now or if I skipped over some mods so I can work on y mod in a clean install.

I already figured MXR channel was targeted. There are a ton of channels doing react videos with the same or worse thumbnails and content. None of which have been publicly stricken or taken down. The only thing that puzzled me was why. My worry is while us dedicated fans are here there may not be enough new fans to replace the inevitable slow attrition of subscribers. I’m hoping the mxr fan channels on YouTube will drive some to support Jeannie and Henry here on Patreon. Trying to be optimistic about mxr’s future

I know that you take it personally, and I know why, but if you can prove that your ban was not warranted then sue of you can afford it. Sue for your right to be on YouTube and sue for the lost revenue you've had up to now. If you win you can get your channel back and all the back pay and possibly your lawyer's cost. I guess it all depends how bad you want to be vindicated.

Don’t be resigned. SUE. SUE. SUE. There a multiple channels that issued the exact same content as yours that are humming along just fine. The difference? They are white. The person targeting you is clearly doing so because of your race. I recommended contacting the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice but the current administration has ordered a pause on all civil rights violations so expecting any just there is unlikely. It is time to take legal action not just against YouTube and its parent company Alphabet, but against the MFer who decided to target you both. Sue them and make it hurt.

Having MXR go down and you guys getting proof that people in the administrative structure are targeting channels put more credit towards what they are saying about getting shadowbanned for their content even though none of it is anywhere near a violation of ToS. It has for years now seemed like a cowboy organization in terms of monetization, copyright enforcement, banning, TOS, censorship rules, shadow-banning, etc. No real standardization of processes nor forward-facing public relations and support. Seems hyper-compartmentalized in certain respects which make it untrustworthy and an insecure platform to rely on consistently and long term. Not necessarily surprising if you have worked in network admin, CRM systems access fields before. Employees with certain authorizations can implement alerts, account locks, read only access , change permissions, etc., such that they can modify and mess with an account without necessarily providing a user log id/case number or a digital paper trial for someone lower on the food chain to follow up on. Fuck them, and best of luck leaving that bullshit behind.

Sounds like their personal vendetta cost you a significant portion of your income which is a valid cause for a lawsuit. Though just to give you a helping hand, several hires at YouTube/Google in the recent years were people who lost their jobs due to companies being shut down that were malicious abusers (like what happened to you with the ransom demanded) of the Copyright strikes on YouTube. They were not top brass at those companies, at least from what I can tell at this point. In other words, this isn't just malicious targeting, but also revenge as your videos bringing to light some of these companies raised awareness and caused a lot of them to be forced to close down.

While I can understand YT for closing down problematic creators, I've felt for a long time like they're unfairly harsh towards some while lenient towards others. It doesn't have to be someone on YT itself, but perhaps the people reporting certain videos and creators, though it certainly seems like they've got at least one person on the inside as well now.

It’s 100% personal. Someone at youtube has it out for them and, for whatever reason, went after them. This particular person isn’t important enough to not be indispensable. It’s a serious matter when someone’s livelihood is taken away unjustly. If Henry hires a lawyer, youtube’s legal department may be forced to initiate an internal investigation. If any foul play or abuse of power is found, the employee would simply be removed. Other cases have shown how youtube’s legal department responds to accusations of this manner. Details aren’t revealed but, it’s clear the issues were resolved for the accusers. I hope this can, somehow, be resolved without the aid of an expensive lawyer. I love these guys.

Henry, I first discovered you on your Fallout 4 mods videos and I was instantly impressed by the quality of the writing and the editing, and I had many laughs at your bawdy comments. Your content was some of the most entertaining that I had seen on any platform, including television. British comedy was the only thing that came close to what you were putting out. If you have lost access to all of your old content then I share in your loss. As for having youtube target you—both of you—I think it’s like having Trump come after you…some ignorant bully attacking you because he is intimidated by your superior abilities and doesn’t understand the rules of comedy. My current youtube frontpage and recommended feed is seriously more explicit than half the content from your reddit feed videos. I get people being uncertain, but sure as hell wasn't ever any doubt to me. Damn that sucks but sadly isn't surprising. YouTube Is a shadow of it's former self playing favorites with channels while destroying the hard working ones. I said this years ago when the abuse from screwtube was starting. One of your exes has to be a bigwig there now it's the only thing that makes sense and it's sad. I've also believed from the beginning I fully believe you have to have some kind of legal recourse against targeted harassment from a multi billion dollar company like this. And the fact that 1 person or a small group of people within that company can cause such financial chaos to one of their users over a personal vendetta is disgusting and I'm praying a very good lawyer sees this situation for what it is and helps.

Step 1, find evidence of harm. Step 2, start go fund me for legal action. Step 3, take the guy who did the harm to court. Not youtube, go after the guy through civil court. I get that you wouldn't want the stress, but I would let a laywer worry about it and your community fund it all.
