Dear Miss Jeannie, I think you should find a copy of the 1960s children's book Miss Twiggly's Tree, by Dorothea Warren Fox. Then you should record your own version of it for posterity. Your voice over capabilities I think are amazing. I also think you would love the book. Still my favorite book from my childhood.

Sometimes Goth girls and guys find out they are only outcasts because they themselves have done the casting out. If they do, then many times they let themselves be drawn back into the world they only think has cast them away. It's not about their looks either. It's about their hopes, and their hearts. Giving others the chance to hope about the future and in many cases, you give them a chance to live. For some people being Goth is about a style that they think is cool or hot. For way too many others it is a search for a community of like-minded hopeless lonely people to share misery with. We should all try as much as possible to lead such young folks away from the dire edge. The pains and miseries of youth will not last forever unless we embrace those pains and miseries forever. The ancients were not kidding when it was said that time heals all wounds. If we try to give hope to these suffering young people. We might yet see a world where the awful headlines of the recent past, will never be seen again. Instead let's bring out the style of smile. Oh, no she's got a smile on her face. Pretty hot huh?
