Got the notiifcation for this video and when I come here I find that there are three more videos I haven't been notified of! Looks like I'll have a full day of MxR goodies today.
The surgeon who had the 300% mortality rate: it was before they sterilized instruments. He was famous for doing really fast amputations, which was helpful in preventing shock because they also didn't have anesthesia, and the less time you were in excruciating pain the less chance your heart would give out from the strain. He messed up the amputation and the patient bled out. He was also cutting so aggressively that one of his assistants, who was holding the patient down, had the fingers on one hand cut off, and he died later of septic shock from the wound getting infected. Someone in the audience watching (because it was at a seminar and he had people sitting around watching) died of a heart attack from the shock of seeing all the blood, screaming, severed fingers, etc. So patient + assistant + audience member = 3 people dead from one surgery = 300% mortality rate.
Good thing they discovered the use of ether, morphine, and cocaine. It's also good they discovered the use of antiseptic alcohol.

No, that elephant is well known for her paintings. Which are sold as the only realistic art by an animal. Asian elephants are way more intelligent than most people are aware of. So are African elephants. The African variety however have a much more definite anti-human attitude than the others because of poaching.

Main problem with Everest is you aren't solo climbing, you are climbing in a group. Due to weather and other considerations it is more likely you'd hit the top with a lot of others.

A lot of these videos seem to be premades for Youtube before their ban. So they are working through their back log. They moved back to LA, so any videos with them still in the Seattle house are old. They said that all un-censoring that could be removed has been, but if the video never had anything to un-censor in the first place then there won't be.
