WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON

0coolmods is a pseudonym created to mod the soccer game we love, striving for greater realism—typically by adding details that the developers overlooked—and by tweaking lighting, terrain, and the grass to create a more immersive experience. Today, this work is setting new standards.

This new standard is real-time lighting, with a real-time schedule and real-time shadows. Created by the great modder FletchAJX.

Here we’re showcasing the new standard. To make the leap, an almost complete overhaul of the previously generated or edited lighting is required.

This will lead to spectacular results, but it’s also a challenge we haven’t faced before. I’m currently testing this great plugin or module—I’ll warn you now: it’s not a per-stadium module; it’s a total, across-the-board change, and lighting that isn’t designed for it will transition poorly, with jumps in tones, colors, shadows, and other horrible issues.

But if we do things right, we’ll finally be able to start our friendly matches in the game engine on a date like October 10, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. GMT+0 in London—or any other day—with daytime kickoff times between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m., as we choose, with the sun’s transition making each match a unique visual experience.

I’m sharing two sample videos featuring the Emirates Stadium, since the lighting in many of the stadiums I’ve shared is based on this one.

0coolmods es un psedonimo que fue creado para editar el juego de futbol que nos gusta buscando el mayor realismo generalmente dando detalles que los creadores pasaban por alto, editando iluminación terrenos y el césped para tener una experiencia mas inmersiva , eso hoy nos lleva nuevos estándares.

Mostrando aca el nuevo estandar, para dar el salto se requiere una reconstruccion casi total de la iluminacion antes generada o editadas

Esto nos llevara a resultados espectaculares, pero tambien es un desafio al que antes no nos habiamos enfrentado, actualmente estoy probando este gran plugin o modulo, se los anticipo, no es un modulo por estadio es un cambio total general y las iluminaciones que no esten diseñadas para este, transicionaran mal, con saltos de tonalidades, colores, sombras y otras cosas horribles.

Pero si hacemos las cosas bien, podremos hasta ahora, iniciar nuestros partidos amistosos en el motor del juego a una fecha ejemplo 10-10-2026 12:30 GMT 0 Londres o cualquier otro dia con inicios de partido diurno en horarios de 12 a 4pm a nuestro gusto con la trasnsicion del sol haciendo cada partido una experiencia visual diferente.
