Announcing a slight rework of the Patreon tier benefits (and here's Pickle in a pickle!)

Happy Monday, everyone!

According to polls and Patreon surveys, most people who subscribe to my Patreon do so primarily to support me rather than for any specific benefit. You guys are the best, and I really appreciate your kindness in this regard. In the past, I've been able to take this knowledge and make particularly special renders available for more people (lower tiers, even public posts) without fear of anyone being upset at me, and it has meant a lot. Because of this, I want to announce that I've decided to officially shift my Patreon tiers to reflect a new system that prioritizes supporting the game's development with less pressure to make locked ancillary content.

Changes:

• Almost all LBTW-related renders will be available at all tiers (including free)

• Any NSFW renders (infrequent) will have their barrier to entry lowered to Lover tier (from Sun God)

• Cure (and Pickle!) selfies will return, locked behind the Sun Gods tier and up

Explanation:

• My general plan now is to avoid tiered LBTW character renders almost altogether. If I work on a bonus render for a character from the game—or even if I'm simply just posting a preview—I'd love for as many people as possible to see it. I don't want to feel like I'm leaving those who may not be able to afford access unable to enjoy something that could give insight or extra detail into characters from the game. More selfishly, it also helps my game's reach to be able to frequently post promotional content!

• In the past, I've felt the need to create ancillary content so those supporting at higher tiers will feel like they're getting their money's worth. Not only do I think most supporters do not care about this, but it's also led to forced content I probably wouldn't have made otherwise. Avoiding this issue means I can prioritize the game's content without worrying about this. It also means that when I do make bonus content, it's something I'm excited about and feels necessary!

• In the same vein, NSFW alternates were often things I posted because I felt obligated to, even if I thought it may be more satisfying to build to it within the game's story. I've historically avoided posting NSFW content of characters that haven't had NSFW content in the game yet, and this is just another way for me to feel better about the content I'm posting on here in relation to the game's story!

• Finally, I'm not sure if anyone's noticed or cared, but I have mostly stopped posting Cure selfies. I always floundered between worrying that it was weird to do or that making them took too much time away from game development, but it's something I enjoyed doing and I think a lot of people enjoyed seeing. So I've decided to start making them again and making those the sole-locked content on Patreon. This way, there is a way to get exclusive content with your support but in a way that doesn't lock anyone else out of LBTW character-content. If you're interested in fun and spicy renders of the hottest game dev duo out there, you'll be able to find them in the Sun Gods tier!

As a reward for reading all of this, here's a render of Pickle stuck in a lazy river tube because her ass is too fat, her steak too juicy, her lobster too buttery. In the future, renders like this will be Patreon-exclusive!

Anyway, this was a long and rambling way to announce that I'm shifting my tier benefits to better reflect how I've kind of done things lately anyway! I hope no one is too upset at me. You can still commission exclusive renders at the Great Old Ones tier (though even the folks at that tier rarely take advantage of that benefit because they, too, only subscribe to support me xD). I love you guys. Thank you so much for supporting me and allowing me to do something I really love. Your generosity means the world to me.
