Devlog #7 - PC of Theseus and progress update

it is wednesday my dudes. i hope everyone is doing well and having a nice week! boring stuff out of the way first: it turns out the issue my PC was having was, in fact, a power supply problem; apparently, the PSU i had was actually recalled for working so poorly and even causing small fires lol. so i bought a new PSU, but i've also taken this opportunity to get a new case because i've known for a while that the one i inherited has no airflow (there's literally like a centimeter of space between the fans and the fully plastic wall they face). i'm also upgrading my CPU's cooler to an aftermarket cooler i've already had for a while but was too nervous to install (eek). all of this is to say i'll be spending the rest of my night gutting my PC and practically rebuilding it which i've never done before so... wish me luck!! it's a real PC of theseus situation and i'm a little nervous lol

anyway, onto the fun stuff! as per the schedule, i'll be releasing the new update for the lovers tier tonight at midnight PST before it goes fully public on the 9th! i hope those who have yet to play it are looking forward to it. as for the next update, i've more or less finished outlining it yesterday. when i say outlined, i generally mean i have the scenes mapped out and written in something of a paragraphs-long prose form, but they still need to be storyboarded and written on a frame-by-frame basis before i begin to render them. if there aren't any hiccups getting my PC up and running again tonight, i hope to get started with the first renders by friday!

i don't really have too much to share other than this. i've been watching campfire cooking in another world on crunchyroll and having a blast. does anyone have any other slow-life isekai recommendations? i also have become addicted to ball x pit on steam........... but if i start talking about that i won't stop

so that's all for this devlog! thanks for the support everybody, and i'll talk to you soon xx
