having THOUGHTS about changing the name of my GAME!!!!!!!!!!! Love by the Water?!!?
this is a dumb question and potentially damaging to the BRAND~ but i've never liked the name of the game. i've always thought it was pretty corny, so i guess i just wanted to throw the idea out there and get some feedback!
as i'm getting ready to release the remake of chapter 1, this is probably the only time that would ever make sense to actually change the name (a relaunch of sorts?), so it's been on my mind more seriously than usual
Lonely-Gale is, of course, the name of the island the game takes place on, a character in itself. it's mentioned by name frequently and is a living, breathing place with a deep, dark history that will continue to be the key focus to the game's story. it's also the name of the discord server and is what all of the roles and everything are themed around. it's still not a great name (can you tell i'm awful at names) but it's a little more unique and cool~ sounding
but i'm also down to just leave it as is and move on lol feel free to tell a bitch to chill out and get back to work !!

When you started this obviously that name came to you for a reason. Don't second guess your decisions. A lot of devs do that and then they start second guessing other things and then their projects go to shit. You have created a wonderful story. Stick to your guns and create the story how you envisioned it originally, title and all.
hehe true!! in this specific case though I hated the name from the DAY I started using it. I really just needed a name and couldn't think of anything else. But don't worry!! I'm not going to change it. I just needed to make sure no one else hated it as much as I did haha
How about legally distict Shape of Water...... We smash a fish person eventually right? Or are we the fish person all along. Shape of Water: The Pre-Sequel. In all honesty I say we keep the OG.
This is your creation and your creation only. If you're happier with the second name that's absolutely what it's called.
I think the current name is fine, but I picked the option to change it to Lonely-Gale. Either name is good so choose the one you prefer
