RESHADE REQUIREMENTS! (and installation)

RESHADE

While installing Reshade to GMOD make sure you know what gmod.exe to install Reshade onto.

If you are using the Normal GMOD Build, select the gmod.exe that is located either at

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod" or

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\bin"

However, if you are using the x86-64 - Chromium Gmod Build select the gmod.exe that is located at

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\bin\win64"

It also asks you what rendering API gmod uses.. its DirectX 9

One of the most frequeant problems people have with my presets are that they do not have the effects that my presets use, for that make sure while installing Reshade you install ALL of the effects possible.

For that, on this screen where it shows you the effects you want to install

First click "Uncheck all" then click "Check all" then continue with your installation.

If it shows in game that some effects were unable to compile thats fine, try to put on one of my presets and if the preset in game looks about the same as in screenshots, you know its working.

But if the presets are still not working for you then the problem might be on your side and i dont know how to help unfortunately.

ADDONS

Installing my edited/custom addons is very simple.

Just put the folder that is inside of the .zip in this location

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons"

Make sure to NOT put there the entire .zip file, just the folder inside of it.
