π Centaur Huntress β The Sculpt Is Complete
She started as an old, forgotten sculpt sitting quietly in my library. A piece without an identity.
Today she's finished.
And she's nothing like the sculpt I reopened a few weeks ago.
After more hours than I'd like to admit, the sculpt is officially done. Refined, balanced, detailed... and finally herself.
I want to say this clearly, because it's true:
You helped build her.
This wasn't me showing you a finished piece and asking for applause. You helped shape her while I was still figuring out who she was.
Some of you saw a huntress. Others saw a guardian, an ancient protector. One comment described the exact moment she's frozen in: her bow fully drawn, when something suddenly steals her focus. That single observation completely changed how I finished the pose.
Others noticed the quieter details that matter just as much: the balance of her mane and tail, the anatomy of her hooves, how much gear was too much, and where the sculpt needed room to breathe instead of adding more detail.
Every one of those conversations became part of this character. A little piece of everyone who spoke up now lives inside her, and I genuinely mean that.
This is exactly what I hoped would happen when I decided to share her while she was still rough... and it did.
Now she moves into the final stage: production.
Over the next few days I'll be:
β Cutting her into clean, printable parts.
β Preparing all the pre-supported files.
β Running real test prints.
β Making the final technical adjustments to ensure a clean and reliable print.
Once everything has been tested and I'm confident she'll print as beautifully as she looks, the files will be released.
There's one more thing about her I haven't talked about yet.
Some of you already noticed what's beneath her hooves...
That's a story for the next post. π
For now, thank you for walking this journey with me.
She's the best reminder of why I love sharing these projects long before they're finished.
The next time you see her, she won't just be a sculpt anymore...
She'll be something you can finally hold in your hands.
