Chapter 1 development status. #5

Hey, everybody.

Telling you:

Since the last post I have finished rendering all the scenes that were posed at that time and the number of images is now 555 (about 15 needed to complete the last scene)

I've also put it all together in code, arranged the sounds and music, put in dialogs and wrote down some bugs in my notes, which I'll fix later.

Yesterday I started working on the game menu (I'll attach the image below), as I got a bit tired of posing and writing. Now we have an almost completely finished home screen (almost finished because I'll need to add a few more things to finalize it). It has animations, sounds, embedded links, and one item you'll know about when you launch the game. This version of the menu is slightly different from the concept that was shown in one of the older posts and probably something else will be changed. Let's assume this is the final view of it. Since the menu in TSOB had some bugs in the form of inability to translate buttons and interface elements this menu will have the option of full translation. This is convenient for those who will translate the game into other languages (if there are any) and convenient for me, if I have time to translate it myself. Over the next couple days, I plan to reposition the remaining images and put them in the render queue. While the computer is doing its thing I'll have time to do mine, so I'll take a couple days off. I'll post previews on Discord soon.
