Lil update
Hello my loves, its been a while hasn't it
I wanted to share an update with you and what will be happening with my patreon page moving forward
This morning I received my latest blood results regarding my thyroid. It is still over active besides being on 20mg of carbimazole for the past two months give or take. I had a feeling it was as I don't feel much better in myself. It looks like I will be having an increase in my medication and I'm just being monitored by my local GP until the end of the year when I go to my appointment with the endocrinologist. I think usually they take you off your medication after around 12-18 months to see how your thyroid functions after, 30-40% of people's thyroid goes back to normal however the rest doesn't which means then in that case from what I have been told you either take an iodine tablet which is radioactive to potentially kill of your thyroid gland ( often doesn't work ) or they go into your throat and remove the gland completely and then you will be on thyroid medication for life. I was told this morning that I have graves disease which basically is an autoimmune disease that stimulates your thyroid into producing too much thyroxine
As someone with extreme anxiety over being put to sleep and the hospital in general this is my worst nightmare and my mental health is very low
It seems I have a very long battle ahead of me and if I'm honest with you I just don't have it in me anymore to continue making custom content. This hasn't been an easy decision as I have loved the last two years sharing my lil creations with you all. My mental health and my health in general will always be my priority as I'm a mum to a special needs child so I have to make sure I am healthy not only for me but for her as well. I NEVER share personal details on socials, but I love this community so much and felt to share what I am personally going through in the hopes that those who are in the same situation don't feel as alone. . I know a few of you commented saying you have the same condition, not for it to sound bad but you've no idea how that made me feel. I also felt a less alone as no one understands how serious and scary this condition is unless you actually have it and the doctors of course. If any of you ever need or want to talk about it then my messages are always open on tumblr, to anyone in general needing someone to talk to actually.
Anyway, I have decided that I will be unfortunately stopping making custom content for the foreseeable future. I know that's probably disappointing for a lot of you but this is just a game and I gotta put myself first instead of the sims
I truly do appreciate all of your well wishes, I have sometimes come on to check comments and some of them have honestly cheered me up immensely. I have and will miss talking to you guys, you're a good bunch of simmers!
I will advice for those of you who are pledged to cancel it, I will be trying from today to figure it out myself also and remove the tip jars also as I feel weird about people still paying for the tip jar if I am not still creating. I do however still have a few more CC releases still scheduled but once the last one is out then thats it from me for now. I will still check this page for comments etc ebery now and then and I will still be somewhat active on my tumblr in case you do want to stay in touch etc my handle is vixonspixels. I think I will always post screenies etc as its something i enjoy and its not stressful
I hope to see you guys in the community
Take care
Lots of love vix xox

praying for healing over you
I truly hope and have your in my prayers you will forever be one of my fav cc creators and i hope if anything u find some joy and peace in your absence. truly take the time to take care of u the sims will always be here and ur supporters will always be here for u upon ur return. Love u so much and thank you for everything
sending so much love to you and your child <3 please rest well and thank you for everything.
Thank you so much for all the work you’ve put in! You’re truly amazing! No matter what, your health always comes first—I hope everything goes smoothly for you~
I am sad that you are leaving but I completely understand as someone who is going through an autoimmune disorder myself. You should always be your own top priority and I am proud as an internet stranger that you are taking care of yourself. You are absolutely right that it is only a game and you are human. I wish you the best of luck and lots of love. <3 <3 <3
Good afternoon, I just wanted to say, that as someone that works within the surgical aspect of these surgeries, much care is taken regarding anesthesia, because of the area the surgeon is working in. I also have anxiety regarding having surgery myself, and I'd offer that you cannot ask too many questions to put your mind at ease. I'd also suggest you don't look things up on the internet too much, they can be misleading and scary. Not all surgeons perform the surgery the same way. It is important you care for your own health and most in the Sims community would agree with that. We care for you and wish you recovery in whatever form that takes.
get well soon and I hope things get better!❤️
Make sure you take care of yourself first. Sims can wait
get well soon! Come on!
get well soon! Come on!
Good luck and i'm sorry that you have to go through that. I just wanted to say that my cousin recently had thyroid cancer and had to have an operation to remove it completely. She is 21, now it is a little more than a month after this operation and she feels much better, even if she is on medication for life, it was a huge burden for her. I hope you will make a decision that will bring you comfort, it is okay to be scared.
Hey vixonspixels, thank you so much for the incredible CCs you've made. I will miss seeing updates on new CC, but most importantly, your health and personal life always come first. I wish you all the best with your treatment and a very speedy recovery.
Good luck! Having autoimmune sucks. I hope you feel better soon!
You will truly be missed, but you and your health are always the priority! Thank you so much for the beautiful work you’ve contributed to this community! I l absolutely love your content, and I appreciate you sharing some of your personal life with us. As someone who also struggles with thyroid challenges I understand first hand how it can really weigh on your physical, mental, and emotional health. Please take care of yourself, and I hope you will be on the way to healing and recovery soon!
Thank you for everything you’ve created. I’m sad to see you go, but fully understand the reasons and wish you nothing but a full recovery and health. 💗
I'm going to miss you so much! Thank you for all your work, I hope you get well soon and if you happen to come back one day, we'll still be here for you <3
As sad as I am to see you go, your personal life will ALWAYS be more important than making custom content. I wish all the best for you and your family <3
thank you so much for all of the hard work you put in. I am praying for your recovery and health. your work has really made my game so unique. appreciate everything!
I hope you have a wonderful recovery. I wish the best in life, For you and your child <3
I'm wishing you the utmost best and an easy recovery in due time. I'm glad I've had the opportunity to interact with you and see you around on Twitter (*whenever it's not a hot mess and too much is going on at times*). I am wishing you and your daughter the best during this time, and I hope you are able to be there for one another. Health always comes first, for sure, and we will be ok. Thank you for all that you created and shared, and just your amazing presence in this community. I will have you both in my prayers and may things get better really, really soon. Much love♥♥♥♥♥
Wishing you all the best in life, especially strength, healing, and good health. It’s hard to see you go, you’ll be deeply missed but your well-being and your family come first, and that’s what truly matters. You’ve been such an important part of this journey, and I’ll always be grateful to have had you as one of my favorite CC creators. Hopefully, when everything is great with your health, we’ll get to see your beautiful creations again. Take care and know that you’ll always have a special place in our hearts.
I know I'm late on this post, but I developed Graves' disease in 2017 and am one of the lucky / diligent ones to make nearly a full recovery. I say nearly because I still have my thyroid and thus could relapse, and my eyesight is permanently damaged. I know how rough the disease can be; I lost so much weight that I found photos of myself on pr0ana websites, and I needed a cane to walk from muscle deterioration. My hair was dull and thin and fell out every time i touched it. I was pale and shaky, my reflexes hyperactive, and i had such bad anxiety. Idk why I'm typing all of this, maybe it's to see if you relate to any of it, but my main point is that this disease is rough and I don't blame you for retiring from content creation to recover, as I both quit my job and took a semester off university because normal things became so mentally and physically taxing. 2016-2018 was one of the lowest parts of my life, but now in 2025 I got accepted into pharmacy school, have an active social life, and stream. We might be strangers, but I am here for you. Take all the time you need; even if you never come back to creating cc, i will always value your art and your contributions to the ts4 community.
I can relate too a lot of it. I’ve lost over two and a half stone in the past 4 months or so due to mine. I’m fortunately not losing weight now thanks to the medication. The hair thinning is a thing too. I’m lucky I have super thick hair otherwise I think I’d of been in trouble. The disease is debilitating for sure. I’m not able to work either, I struggle to even go up and down stairs for the bathroom etc without needing a 20 min break. Also the fatigue? I spend my days honestly so tired, or I’ll have one semi ok day and then I have 2-3 days where it’s almost like my body has to recharge. I can’t think of anything worse than being sat at my computer desk for longer than an hour. I rarely ever go on it these days as it’s just too much effort. It sounds to me like your in remission which is brilliant. I’m also pretty set on not having my thyroid removed, as the important thing to remember is that there’s nothing wrong with my thyroid, it’s the Graves’ disease doing the damage. Removing the thyroid doesn’t cure you, graves isn’t curable. It’s a sad reality to come to terms with and honestly I still spend alot of my time crying over it now. Just knowing that this is what my life will be like now while my graves is active is heartbreaking. I feel like I’ve had my life taken from me in a way which I’m sure you’ll understand what I mean. Sending love and prayers your way that you keep coping with it 🤍
You will certainly be missed greatly, Vix! I'm wishing you all the best as you navigate this battle. I'm glad you're prioritizing your health & I hope to still see you around on Tumblr from time to time, sending you hugs my love!! 🖤

I don't say this often but I really will be praying for you. This is such a difficult situation to be in, please take care of yourself. <3
It's so unfortunate what you're going through. Lifting you up in prayer as you take time back to look after you. Thank you for your creations, Vix. Your work has helped with making my game that much better.
My prayers and thoughts are with you please continue to take care of yourself. I love your creations and thank you for your time and energy that you put in! Hope your recovery goes well.
Wishing you well in life, and praying for you and your family during this time. I really hope everything goes well for your health.
So sorry to hear what your going thru, please stay strong for you and your child. I've enjoyed all your creations and thank you for that! Stay blessed you are in my prayers to the path of recovery.
I am sorry you are going through this, as a mother of a special needs daughter I always worry about my health. I also am always worried about the future and what happens when my husband and I die. I am unable to understand all of it but that part I do and I am very sorry. If I remember to I will say a few prays here and there in hopes they comfort you. <3
You've been so generous to this community, so thank you. I hope in this season, you'll feel the continued love we have for you and I will pray you'll gain healing and have strength and peace in this season.
Your health is the most important. Take care!
I'm so sorry to hear about your health. It can be so hard to motivate when you are struggling. I've seen the thyroid issues from both ends, I have an underperforming thyroid and take medication which seems to do the trick for me. My grandmother had the issue you are having, overproduction. They removed her thyroid and she took medication afterwards, and did well with that. I will say, when she was 95 her thyroid grew back, something I had no idea could happen. So if they do remove it, keep in mind that 30-40 years later you may have a new one. Take care of yourself! You've got this, and we are all here wishing you the very best. 🤍
I truly hope you're able to navigate this and come out of it much, much better. Whether this is through the NHS or private - they better be helping you and treating you right 💕 we appreciate you regardless of whether or not you're creating content for us to use. Go do what you need for yourself and your family. We'll love and support you regardless 💕
thankyou darling 🤍
I hope you get well soon. I've thoroughly enjoyed you content and will be sad to see you go. But your health is top priority. You will be in my prayers. I hope to see you back active soon.
The thyroid produces adrenaline which can stimulate anxiety-it sucks! I hope things work out for you. Remember to take care of yourself wholly; we will be here when you get back.
the thyroid causes anxiety when its working over time, thats one of the main symptoms of hyperthyroidism. the feeling of impending doom they call it. you have it for 24 hours a day there is no getting rid of it no matter how much you try and relax etc. its all part of the condition until you can get your hormones balanced
Always do what's best for you, love. As you said, this is just a game. Life goes on and we'd rather you be on the healthy side of it, mind, body, and soul. I'm praying for you that this will have a positive turnaround. Thank you so much for all your lovely creations, and please take care 💞
You're absolutely incredible and an amazing creator! Thank you so much for everything! Take care of yourself lovely!
Thank you for everything and please take care of yourself ❤️
take care of yourself! thank you so much for everything <3 <3
I don't know what you are going through with your own personal diagnosis, but I do know what it's like to deal with a life altering diagnosis and still show up everyday as the best you that you can be for your child who also has their own set of very special needs. Build up your tribe to support you both virtually and in person. Know it's ok to have some really bad days where you wonder if you even remembered to do any personal hygiene, let alone an entire other human's. You will be in this momma's thoughts daily. 💖
its nothing but bad days at the moment, but I'm still in early diagnosis and the medication isn't working properly yet so hopefully things look up soon
thanks SO much for everything! please take care of yourself and your family immersely well and ofc we'll miss you too :3 your health should always come first. praying for your full recovery ❤️❤️
Thank you SO much for sharing! I completely relate to your autoimmune thyroid disorder struggles and your anxieties and share your fears. It's so scary and frustrating how the thyroid seems to affect everything in our bodies. Sending prayers for healing and I hope that it helps give you comfort to know there are others of us going through this too and that you are not alone, despite how alienating struggling with chronic health issues makes one feel. ❤️
im so sorry you're also going through something like this, my inbox is always open if you ever need a chat 🤍
Thank you for everything you have contributed to the SIMS community. Wishing you blessings and healing energy <3 YOU got this!
Thank you for all your amazing content for sure will be missed. Praying for your healing, peace and wishing you the very best. ❤️❤️❤️
Sending you so much love. Your health is the most important thing and it’s what you should focus on completely. Take care and take the time you need for you!
May you find peace as you heal. Take care of you. Get better and enjoy every day YHWH gives. Travel this new road intentionally. If it leads you back to the Sims and modding, let it be filled with fun and stress free. Sending hugs, prayers and encouragement your way. Peace & Blessings, Ciao.
Its ok we will be here when you get back take care of yourself Vix. Gotta say you are one of my top ranked cc creators all your overrides and bg cc is superb just to put it out there. Get well we all adore you and your work feel better. 😊 #sending digital hugs
I wanted to share how much your content has reignited my love for the game. As someone with a few chronic illnesses, I understand how much it can impact and take over your life; it's really about learning to live in a completely new way. I wish you the best on your health journey and send you my well wishes. 🤍
knowing i have done that for you is such an honour and i hope you continue to enjoy your game. i hope whatever it is your going through that you have some support around you as i couldnt imagine dealing with it alone. sending you lots of well wishes also 🤍
I wish you the best in your health journey. Autoimmune diseases and thyroid disorders are both health complications I have dealt with. I can understand your decision. I will follow you over on Tumblr, be well Vix.
im sorry to heart that, i hope your managing the best that you can with it. ill give you a follow back lovely 🤍
I think a majority of us would be willing to keep our pledges if it helps you financially esp because medical bills are no joke <3 sending prayers, and well wishes.
that is so sweet honestly, I'm fortunate that i get care from the nhs although sometimes its not that great. I'm lucky i got my diagnosis so soon as some people don't find out for years 😔 saying that i could of had graves disease for a long time, i just maybe wasn't symptomatic at that time 🤍
Dealing with health issues is not easy at all, especially when there's so much information out there. Putting your mental and physical health is the most important thing. Sims and this community will be here when you're fit and healthy again. Praying for a smooth and speedy recovery for you, and peace as you embark on this journey! ❤❤❤
thankyou so much hun!🥲🤍
I will miss you and your work terribly but I sincerely wish the best for your health and wellbeing. Thank you.
i will miss all of you aswell 🥲
🫂🙏🏿✨
I wish you the best on your health journey! Stay strong ❤️❤️❤️
Hi, I hope you begin to feel better soon. Hang in there, the medical terminology and medical research you may conduct on your own is probably scaring you more than calming you at this point. I want to share something with you that may help. When I was a little girl, my grandmother was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, just as you. She was on medication for a year, and then she developed inflammation (a small goiter), and they decided to remove the entire gland. Fifteen years later, and now 83, she takes medication that works to function as the thyroid gland. As an adult, I have a hypoactive thyroid, which is a complication of Hashimoto's disease. It was a long journey to uncover what was happening with my body. I have been on and off medication for my thyroid for nearly five years now. Happily, the last two years have been more off than on. The fatigue worsens at a certain time of the month, but with therapy, nutrition, and other interventions, I have learn to manage it better. The sensitivity to the cold I have not. I tell you this because in the beginning, I was scared, and the medical terminology and personal research enhanced that fear by a thousand. But then my mom reminded me of my grandmother's journey. Medical terminology and personal research can make you feel hopeless and even more afraid. It is ok to be afraid, but with the best of wishes, I say that you are strong and will thrive in this time of uncertainty. I hope you feel better and make sure you put your health first.
thankyou so much for sharing your story, it has helped alot. i sadly also have health anxiety so i am forever researching things. you are right i probably have made myself even more scared, but graves disease is something i wanted to know all about since i wont see a specialist until the end of this year and needed more information on it. the phone call i received today was by my nurse so she didn't really know much to tell me aside from my diagnosis and blood results
hi vi
I wish you good health always. Blessings.
Wishing you the best on your health journey! 🧡🧡
Wishing you all the best! 🤍
Good Luck!! Thank You For Making TS4 A Lil Better. ❤️🩹
OMG as I was reading, I was like oh I remember this feeling so well. I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and Graves Disease a couple years back. And I 100% agree with you, it is mentally exhausting trying to keep up with a body that doesn’t want to cooperate. The tiredness, achiness, the medication or lack thereof. It’s an entire production sometimes. And please, never apologize for prioritizing your health. I applaud you for doing what you need to do so that you can live your life and be there for your family. You’re doing a great job and I wish you nothing but the best. 💙
could you message me on tumblr or something so i can pick your brain about how you're doing with it now? its such a scary thing isnt it. a few years ago i can imagine you felt the exact same, you should be so proud of yourself for getting through such a difficult time 🥲🤍
Prayers for your health, nothing is impossible with God, and all things work for your good and his glory. This is just a moment in time that you’ll look back on and see how God brought you through. He is good, and it’s going to be okay. 🙏🏽🩵
Praying for your health and strength and for peace of mind for you and your family.
So so sorry you’re going through this. I have the reverse of graves - Hashimotos. Thyroid issues are horrible. I’m sending you lots of good thoughts.
sending you lots of good thoughts also. i have heard of your condition but never spoken to anyone with it. honestly anyone dealing with something like ours automatically has my sincerest love. its absolutely awful to deal with isn't it. i only found out this morning about me having graves disease and i haven't stopped sobbing yet 🤍
I'm so sorry your going through this battle God can bring you out of this stay strong never give up always remember your not alone we love you vixen thank you for sharing your creations with us put you and your family first love and prayers 🙏❣️🙏❣️🙏🙏❤️🙏❤️
vixie take care ❤️ we will never forget you and your wonderful creations! Lots of love for you and your family🙏🏼
🤍
I am still praying for you. But he was wounded for your transgressions, he was bruised for your iniquities: the chastisement of your peace was upon him; and with his stripes you are healed. lsaiah 53:5-8 (KJV)
Hey Girly, I know it’s been a minute since me and you have talked, but I do pray for a safe recovery, I know this is very scary for you, but I know you can get through it ❤️ if you need any help trying to relax or calm your anxiety a bit try meditating or just listening to some calm meditation music, go out in nature or take some deep breaths and drink hot tea or water to help ease your worries a bit. But I know you got this 🫶🏾
hey darling! thankyou so much for your kind words i appreciate them. i have to be careful doing any kind of exercise because of my heart rate but ill definitely try listening to some more relaxing music! i hope you're doing okay aswell 🤍
Praying for good health and calm nerves! Wishing you all the best 💞
Put your health first🫶🏽 & be a mom second we’ll be here if you ever decide to come back. Until then snuggle up with your baby & make memories. I wish nothing but the best for you. Sending positivity, love and light 🦋☀️💛🌻
I've been diagnosed with an underactive thyroid (so the opposite of yours) since I was 15, so I've been dealing with all the blood tests and medication balancing for 13 years now - I am always open to having a chat if you want to talk to someone in the same boat. Take care of yourself and I hope that you find the right balance of medication or solution soon xx
thankyou darlingxx
Always make sure you put yourself first! I love your content and I'm sad they'll be no new ones but your health and family is the main focus! I hope you'll be okay lovely ❤️
