I did it!
Hey all , it’s time again!
It took longer than expected, but Chapter 12.5 is finally finished.
You might be wondering:
“Why is he making a public post for that?”
or
“Why did it take so long if it’s only half a chapter?”
The answer is simple: Because this chapter is huge.It is bigger than the entirety of Chapter 12, includes new mechanics, more choices, and a lot more. In terms of playtime, it's probably longer than a the full chapters you are used to. So why is it called Chapter 12.5 and not Chapter 13?
First of all, there haven’t been any half-chapters before. And secondly, I don’t divide my chapters by length, word count, or number of images. I divide them based on the story section they cover. Chapter 13 was always planned to be a very big chapter.
In Chapter 12.5, you can expect several reveals, cool action scenes, and even a small investigation. Long story short: I think this chapter turned out great, and I definitely believe it’s worth it.
That being said, I’m obviously not exactly unbiased here, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
For everyone who gets the half-chapter: I’m really excited to hear what you think. Feel free to send me feedback, especially because I tried out some new systems and I’m curious to see how they land with you.
Chapter 12.5 releases on May 26, 2026. Depending on your time zone, and, of course, much more on my abysmally slow internet.

P.P.S.: I know the image is not new, but when I release the half-chapter, I’ll maybe have a cool new image for you. Look forward to it!
(Also, the image was inspired by a manga cover, the only manga series I’ve ever owned in my life. Maybe one of you can guess what inspired it.)

Hi Berki, thanks for the update and the information about Chapter 12.5! I'm curious to see how the story continues. I created an account on gamestorylog to vote, because your (our) game is listed there under "Best Action", but I'm too late! "Account must be at least 7 days old before voting opens", but "Voting closes May 27, 2026, 3:00 PM· 3 days left". So I have to wait another 6 days until I can vote, but then GSL AVN Awards 2025 will be over, too bad 😒. But I hope that many other players will vote for our game.
