Update
Holy balls sacks, we just hit 150 patrons! Let me just say welcome aboard to all of the new pledgees, and say a mega-thank you to all of you awesome people for contributing to my work!
As for progress, chapter 19 of Banished hit 60 pages today. I was able to finally get back to writing these last few days, but since I still feel pretty sick, I'm trying to take it easy and not rush too much. That being said, this chapter is shaping up to be really long! Which brings me to a question. Would you all prefer a long chapter? Or would you rather if I broke it up into several parts instead? My preference is to keep going with it, given that chapter 19 is meant to be the big climax chapter in any case, but I'd appreciate knowing how you all feel as well. :)
Regards,
Kousaka~

My preference was to go long, so I'm glad to see everyone prefers that as well! Thanks so much for the responses! 😀
Go with the flow would be my suggestion. You're the conductor of this magical symphony and if you feel the best story told is a full one who could disagree with you?
I always enjoy long chapters more. That's because I hate getting to the end and waiting for the next chapter. Hope you get better soon.
Long chapter would be better as it's the climax and breaking it would break the flow. When you read the entire climax in one go you feel the intensity and exhilaration in one go. Rest you are the creator, do what you feel best.
Long chapters are great! But also, as Florida Reader says, do whatever feels best for you. Tell your story the way you think it should be told.
You do you. Make it as long or short as you want -- break it into 16 parts if you want. This is your story -- and you are doing great work.
