Update
Okay, so a bit of non-writing stuff came up this past week.
Since I've been home during this virus crisis, I've been part of a neighborhood initiative of sorts to help some of the older folk get around to do the stuff they need to (basically just making trips to the bank, getting groceries, other necessities, that kind of thing). Well, last week I got a call from the contact tracing folk informing me that I am a primary contact of a confirmed case. Which kind of sucks, because we have established bubbles for these operations, and it most likely meant someone broke protocol, putting a lot of vulnerable people at risk. :(
Anyway, it meant I had to self-quarantine for a while, but since I have been acting as caretaker for my elderly parents since earlier this year, I couldn't do so at home. It wasn't that bad, as facilities were provided, but it did mean that I did not have access to my writing materials, just my phone, and my phone kind of really sucks. Lol.
Anyway, I was hoping to be home by tomorrow, but now I've begun to show symptoms, so this might not be at an end just yet. I am due to be tested soon, so I will update as soon as I can, but it has been a setback in writing.
As for the writing stuff, chapter 18 is more or less complete (it was about 53 pages, pre-edit), and I've been trying to edit/fix using my phone, but it's a little bit of a struggle (so much freezing and crashing omg). I was in the process of working out an arrangement with one of my siblings to take my parents in for a bit so I could get back home, but right now that arrangement depends on my status, so I guess we'll have to wait and see. :S
Wish me luck?

Good luck I hope it works out
Please take care of yourself first! I find many authors keep pushing themselves in the beginning and when real life really comes on they get discouraged and stop. Take care of yourself first, and the story will thank you for it in the long term!
Very kind of you to do all those things for those at risk. I wish all the best for your health, don't get too stressed out if writing gets too difficult. I mean, worse comes to worst you could probably acquire a notebook and pencil and start brainstorming future stories or the next arc of Banished. Best of luck!
Good luck! Hope you don't turn out to be positive :( Let us know how it goes.
Oh bummer! Hope all goes well with logistics and health.
I hope you get well soon!
