Update
The writing for part 6 went well this week. It's up to about 35 pages. It's a little fragmented (partially because I did some spontaneous writing while working and I didn't have the rest of the story available for reference, but the section itself is going to be a little fragmented, with memories from the past intertwined into the present), so it's going to need some chopping and fixing to get it together into a cohesive chapter. There's writing still to be done but I don't anticipate the final product being anything over 35 pages, maybe 40 at most. If I have another productive week this will be ready by the end of it. :)

Yeah, I do. I started running hotdq about two years back with some close friends, but we play about once a month so that campaign is still ongoing. They went so far off the rails though that the campaign's basically turned into a homebrew adventure. 😂
Nice! I had a group that I was playing 5e with, but two of the party members moved away so we had to stop playing. Currently I'm in a Pathfinder campaign that my friend is DMing, and I just started DMing a Starfinder campaign a few months ago. I just had to completely scrap a whole story arc I was planning for them that was loosely following a campaign setting. Now I'm having to make up everything from scratch, so I feel your pain xD
Awesome, I'm excited to see what the next chapter holds. Also as an avid player of tabletop games as well as a DM, I'm digging the D&D references. Your sense of character development is quite good, and your writing is quite compelling. Do you DM in your spare time by chance?
