My Boundaries in Photography - ENGLISH VERSION
I wish you a beautiful day ☀️
In the previous article → How did I actually get into modeling? | Patreon, we talked about how I got into modeling, and today we’ll look at my boundaries.
When I started, I only wanted to shoot street, fashion, and at most glamour. I was new to the photography world, and since I want a relationship and children one day, I didn’t want to shoot anything that could potentially bother my future partner.
My first glamour shoot was with the amazing photographer Lukáš Kukel → LUKÁŠ KUKEL PHOTOGRAPHER | Collection from Teyla | 6 posts | Patreon
(By the way – I’ve organized albums on my Patreon by photographers 📸)
Our first shoot together was actually street photography at Vyšehrad, where we created these beautiful photos:

To this day, these are my favorite albums – not only because I don’t shoot this style as much anymore, but mainly because I truly felt happy during that shoot.
At that time, I was working a lot on myself, and modeling is one of the things that helped me a lot… but we’ll talk about that another time. 🖤
During that shoot, I felt completely like myself, and glamour → https://www.patreon.com/posts/97295964?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link is still my favorite and most comfortable style.
When I received the photos for selection, my first reaction was:
“That’s not me, right? Like WOOOW!” 😄
My feelings were like when a little girl gets her dream toy.
And those who know me know that when I’m happy about something, I’m really like a little kid… give me a hippo plushie and you’ll see 😄
I remember one shoot where I didn’t feel completely comfortable… and that’s when I fully realized how important it is to be able to say no.
One experience especially confirmed this for me. The photographer behaved in a way that made me uncomfortable – he touched me without my consent and crossed boundaries that, in my opinion, should never be crossed.
I think it’s important to say out loud that this kind of behavior is not okay. A photographer should always respect the model, and any physical contact should only happen with consent.
Even though the photos from that shoot turned out nice, that feeling stayed with me for a long time. And that experience taught me that my boundaries are more important than any result.
🖤 Why are boundaries important?
Boundaries are important to me in photography mainly because when I feel good and safe, it shows in the photos.
Something I would never shoot and still refuse to this day is OPEN LEGS.
This is a clear boundary for me that I will not cross – not for money, not for any reason.
What I still struggle with a bit are nudes.
Even if they are artistic nudes where I pose in a way that nothing is visible, I don’t feel completely comfortable being fully naked in front of a photographer.
Yes, you can find a few nude albums – even in my calendar – but they were mostly shot by photographers I’ve known for a long time.
For me, it’s very much about trust and feeling safe. If I don’t have that feeling, I won’t enjoy the shoot – and that’s important to me.
✔ What I’m okay with:
street
fashion
glamour
topless
❌ What I’m not okay with:
nudes (in most cases)
✨ How is it now?
Has anything changed? YES! 😅
I also shoot topless now. That “breakthrough” happened during one shoot where I felt safe and natural.
My first topless shoot was with photographer David Brož → Red ❤️🔥 | Patreon
I simply tried it – without being persuaded – and I liked it so much that I’ve been shooting it ever since.
But ATTENTION!
If I’m shooting with a new photographer, I don’t do topless.
Usually only on the 2nd or 3rd shoot, when I know if the person suits me and I feel comfortable with them.
Am I more confident?
👉 Yes. Setting boundaries has given me much more confidence. 😊
Do I stick to my boundaries?
👉 Yes. I still have room to grow, but some boundaries I will never cross.
🖤 In conclusion
My boundaries may change over time, but they will always come from how I feel.
Because for me, photography is not just about the result, but mainly about the feeling I have during it.
And I think that’s what shows the most in the photos you see. ✨
And what about you?
Do you also have your own boundaries or things you would never do? 💭
Have a lovely rest of your day 💕
