Hooked! Ch07 Early October Report

Last year, I did a halloween post for October, and I had a lot of fun with it, so I planned to do one this October as well. However, as the theme for this chapter is spooky, I feel like I'm already scratching that itch. So I'll just spend this month working on the chapter like normal.

That said, last week I was working on translations again. The UI is now fully translated in the following languages:

• Simplified Chinese

• Traditional Chinese

• Spanish

• Russian

• Korean

• Japanese

Chapters 1-5 are also fully translated, however I've been testing and there are some issues that the translators are going to take a second pass at. Afterwards, they'll do some playtesting on their end, and once that's done, I'll release it for you guys to check out.

In this report, you'll find the translated UI as well as a few renders in a new environment you guys haven't seen yet. It's not a huge post this time, as most my time went to translations and environment modeling.

Those of you with keen eyes will see that certain languages are missing characters here and there in translations. So if you've got a good recommendation for free chinese fonts, give me a holler. There's also no gameplay screenshot of spanish, cause that translation is the one with the most issues.

The current game does NOT contain any of this art. This is just a progress report. I will maintain this link for about a month, after that the link will expire. Go here to get the latest build of the game:

If you are having struggles getting access through itch, make sure you have an active 5-10usd patreon subscription. itch.io does't keep track of what tier you had before your current tier. If that doesn't work, try doing the whole process through an incognito window: New incognito window -> Log in to patreon -> Click link -> Connect Itch with Patreon. If even that doesn't work, send me a DM and we'll find a solution!
