The Development Time of Ch06
I try my best to make chapters in 3-4 months. The most recent chapters took 4-6 months, which is not great, but not the worst. Chapter six took about 8-9 months to develop, which is no good. You might be confused if you haven't read all my updates, so I wanted to summarize everything here.
What happened?
I had a move which took about seven months, living with in-laws for a while. Usually, I can work from home, but during this move I instead had to work from a rented office. I was supposed to set up my new space with a family member in May, but they got hospitalized with severe pneumonia, so it's been delayed up until now. With this rented office, there's only so many hours a week I can be on the computer. I did a lot of extra stuff this chapter: remade all the girls completely, hired translators, and spent a month doing Halloween content. Out of these, moving was most time consuming by far.
This delay made me feel deflated and ashamed at times. But something I've realized is that my problem is not a lack motivation or a poor work ethic. I actually think I've become more disciplined and efficient through this. My problem is logistical, and it's coming to an end soon, so long as nothing else goes wrong. Fingers crossed!
What will I do now?
I plan to scope the chapters very carefully forward, and hope that I can get them out at a higher pace once I have my new work space set up, which should be soon. I've hated having to work so slow, and I have nightmares about not being able to finish this game. You have my promise that I am dedicated to finishing it.
I will be releasing chapter six for Dolphin tier tomorrow, as by then it will be two weeks since it was released for the Shark tiers. After that, I will work on getting the translations of chapters 1-5 out. I've already sketched out chapter seven, so work on that will start shortly after.

Thank you for all the hard work you've put into this game. I know the development has been difficult, but your dedication really shows, and the quality of your work is amazing. I truly hope you get to finish this game the way you envision it. And when you do, I also hope you'll create another one in the future. I'm patient brodie. So long as I get my moment with Max eventually. I'll wait patiently. I'll take this time to say well done with this game. I really do enjoy it. The characters, the animations. The quality is great and your doing an amazing job. The anticipation for each chapter is torturous. But know that because your game is so good. The payoff will always be worth it no matter how long you take. I know I'm not speaking for myself when I say I appreciate what you do and can't wait to hear more. Thank you.

I'm just supporting cause I've been a fan since the Kanker days. However long the game takes is as long as it takes; I trust in your artistic vision to complete it sometime before I die. Just give me more Max content and my life is yours!

I think, while taking a quite a few months may seem like you aren’t doing enough, it is far better to take your time with something. Especially with a game as great as this, so honestly if we need to wait longer because you really want to focus on the chapters quality then by all means pls do. Chapter 6 was great and super excited to see what more is in stored.🙏

I think you're being too hard on yourself. Yeah updates have been a bit slower maybe, sure, but you put in so much work and it really shows through in the final product. I would put Hooked at the same level as Cyan capsule's My Pig Princess. There are no other games like this that I would hold in such high esteem. Fantastic visuals, solid writing, funny, appealing cast... You have a winner here so just keep doing what you're doing!
I think, even if the chapters take a bit longer, your willingness to provide regular, consistent updates is much more important. On projects like this, the concerns start building when the time between posts from the devs starts increasing.
How many chapters are planned for the final game?
I was thinking something around 15 but it might end up being more
This seems like a streak of bad luck , I don't see it happening as frequently in the future unless something on that level happens. but if you're in communication with us about what's going on , I don't have an issue even if it's a vague "Hey everyone , delay is going on ,some personal stuff is effecting My time lines , I will be in communication when everything is up and running again". I know I'd be fine with it.
The quote from toy story always springs to mind "You can't rush art".
Just a thought... I wouldn't mind short sfw "in between" mini chapters just to keep the story going. I'd like to see where this goes now that they know Hannah was right. I know, I know. The dolphins don't know what I'm talking about. But they'll see soon enough
Oh yeah, I've been thinking about that! I'm afraid to disappoint with a chapter that has no NSFW in it, but I would like to have some more plot heavy chapters.
I'm sorry about your family member, I hope they get better soon. I'm curious, what are you changing about the girls? Their designs, the dialogue, their personality? I thought they worked just fine the way they were before. You have a pretty unique style already! :)
They have been remade on a technical level! Design wise their changes are minimal. The idea is just to make them easier for me to use with the new blender version, and it's not supposed to be something you notice. Other than maybe some small details that are fixed/improved
Boss, what do you have planned for the next chapter? I’d also like to know if there will be deep penetration and a creampie. That chapter was really cool, but it would be interesting to see our protagonist use his full power.
I don't wanna say too much about chapter seven yet, but that's where they'll be making their second parody! Which shark tiers voted over ages ago, it's gonna be The Ring. I understand everyone wants the MC to go all the way in. I'm building up to it, it'll happen!
I can't speak on behalf of everyone, but I'm here to support you as a creator. What you have made soo far has exceeded what I expect from any adult game. That is why I stay. I'm excited to see what you do no matter the pace.
Do you need translation to English for anything? I'd happily offer my time for no cost of you create everything in a different language and need it translated to English.
I write it all in English! The translators I hired were to translate to languages like Spanish, Russian, Chinese etc. But thanks for the offer!
Started the game at chapter 6 and I love it, all the girls are so charming. We always want content fast and yes 8-9 months per chapter is excessive, however don't let that encourage you to rush out a worse product to "make up" for it
