Sad Discord news
Interesting turn of events, guys!
So: Last night, my discord account got deactivated. It was completely out of left field for me. The account still exists, the server still exists, but I don't have access to that account anymore, meaning I don't have any admin rights to the server, either. I didn't prepare for this, so none of my mods have the ability to make me a mod, either.
It sucks. I'm angry about it, I'm sad about it, but there's nothing to do, really. What we can do, is move forward. I'm seeing it as a chance to rebrand the discord server, and the Patreon page, for that matter.
I think I wanna give everyone some time to say goodbye to the old server. It'll still be up, because I straight up can't do anything with it, but I won't be hosting Patreon content there any more. My mods (or I) will make some announcements there soon, and I'll eventually move the Patreon bot over to the new server. I'll announce it here as well, and include a link to the new server. Once the patreon bot is moved, I assume everyone will lose access to the patreon content on the server.
Since I'm making a new discord server, I decided to make it more Hooked themed, and that includes changing the name of the Patreon tier channels, and subsequently, the tier names.
Paladin tier = Grand Blue Tier
Knight Tier = Shark Tier
Squire Tier = Dolphin Tier
Tip Jar Tier = Starter Hook Tier

Where is the link to this new server?
You can find it in the pinned post and most of the update posts!
When you end hooked to last v ?
Sorry, what do you mean by that?
I understand the feeling, if its possible there is a way to archive the sever, but that is sad news. I hope things can return to what to hope
hey I'm on the new server and I'm a shark tier but its not letting me see access to any of the stuff can i get help its weird cause i have my discord connected to my Patreon
I tried replying to this, but it seems it didn't go through. But basically: We have to wait for the patreon bot to disconnect from the old server before it can connect to the new one. It's been at it for a whole day, nothing to do but wait atm.
ensure you always create an alt for it to be an owner of your server, so that if you main gets banned u can still admin the server/vice versa
Absolutely. Being extra careful this time
This sucks.
Damn that blows man, I hope you are able to transfer as much as you can, I think you are able to export channels to a new server for all that stuff like the art resources and help
Discord funeral time. Def make your new acct while on a VPN just in case they flag that a new acct is being made by the same IP address that used to own a now banned account. Fingers crossed things go well this time!
That stinks.
Aye Aye Captain, let's give the old server a ship funeral
